Movin on Up

I enjoyed my little victory raid, but it was now several hours later. I wondered how long it would take the banks to notice the massive amounts of dough had up and disappeared. I figured about an hour after they opened. I had not left them a trail to follow, but I wondered if sorcery could track it to me. I needed to move. I loved my condo, and my lease still had another six months on it. If I stayed though I would be a walking target. I needed to destroy my computer now as well, but hell I was a gazillionaire now I could get something better. The thought made me grin.

With just a little arson, and very minimal packing later I was off to buy a new shiney base of operations. I was sitting in the office of a very upscale realtor. Yes, I could have just gotten a hotel, but I wanted something more permanent. If I stayed in a hotel my need to feed may be distracting with too many people nearby. My condo had been perfect for me, because my neighbors had been two very old women. Nice gals I hoped they didn't get torched. I cringed starting to feel a little bad then shrugged. Guilt wasn't my best thing, what can I say I am evil after all. The prim woman sitting behind the desk looked rather annoyed that I was wasting her time.

"We have a very high end clientele. Nothing we sell will be under two million." She said looking at me with narrowed eyes.

"I was looking for something more around ten million actually. I want to upgrade not downgrade." I said leaning back in the chair. The short skirt barely covered everything like this, but I just didn't care.

"Uh huh. Well did you get preapproved for this through a bank?" She asked eyebrows raised.

"Nah I will just pay for it out right thanks." I said watching her scepticism changing to hope. "Close the deal by tomorrow night, and there will be a million in it for you off the record." I continued winking at her. Her eyes bulged and she got out some printouts for me to look at. I finally settled on one that was fairly near my next target. It was a modern construction all huge windows and pools that the lower floors looked out onto colorful fish. There was an indoor pool, basketball court, theater, and even bowling alley. What did I need with all that? Why I was going to throw one hell of a party.
