Volume 1: Chapter 5

Mary said Daisy about baron Alphus.

" Baron Calten Alphus was a man who rose to the position of baron from hardwork. He was an orphan but he did his best in his work. Later he married Anna who was a commoner . He loved his wife more than anyone in this world . He was righteous in his duties .After a year Anna gave birth to a son ,he was Rio Alphus. There life was filled with happiness and five years later they had Daisy .When Daisy was three months old, her mother died from illness. This affected baron Alphus and he became a different person."

" But still baron Alphus is doing his best" said Mary ." Milady ! You must sleep now, have a good night ".

Daisy said "Okay Mary! You may leave."

After Mary left Daisy began to think ,laying down in her bed. She understood that Baron Alphus does not have anyone to express his love after Anna passed away. Rio only stays in the mansion for a week ,during his holidays from the academy. So the mansion is always lonely, only with Daisy and her father. Both rarely speak to each other .

Quickly Daisy realised that "maybe the baron disliked when I called him baron Alphus morning when I apologized .So he may have called me to dinner. I think my plan is somehow progressing . I will accomplish this mission of being a loving daughter to the baron. So he may not become a person who is fond of money and power. Now I am ten. I still have three years for my engagement with the prince. Before that I will change baron Alphus" after that she fell asleep.

It was morning and the birds were chirping. A maid came in and woke up Daisy, since her brother was returning to the academy. She went down and sent him off. Rio was happy since Daisy came down to send him off as she rarely came out of her room.

After Rio left Daisy felt a bit lonely.

To make her father a different man she decided to take the first step. She ran to baron Alphus and invited him for breakfast" Papa can we have breakfast together !". He immediately accepted and went to the dining hall. He seemed to love spending time with his daughter . Daisy gathered up courage and asked " Papa! Do you like me?" .

Baron Alphus said without a thought " Yes!" .

"Then why don't we have breakfast together everyday? "

Baron Alphus was surprised as Daisy always ignored him and was always by herself . Although he was worried he didn't do anything about it. This was a great change for him.

He replied " Okay ,lets eat together everyday".
