A Doll's Life

Carefully wrapped,

In a colourful box,

Soft plush little doll,

I the first gift.

The first beauty sight,

A happy smile,

Oh my kid,

Caught me tight.

Flew like a bird,

Taken to places,

Slept in the arms,

Played me my kid.

Kid grew up,

Played under the sun,

Time with gadgets,

Left me alone.

Tall enough kid,

Feels like an ant.

The yet lost past,

No more a memory.

The child in hood,

All play no work,

My kid see me,

Never smiled again.

Those happy days,

Wish it last till last.

Longer till eternity,

Forgotten was I?

Fell in a box,

Ages of dark,

Thoughts of hope,

Merged in black.

End was seen,

An aged old toy,

My last wish,

I see my kid.
