Going Back

As soon as the door closed, Carlotta lost the smile she had on and turned to Max, "What did you think you are doing?"

"Look, I know how it is. I also really know when we aren't needed in the room." Max said, looking over the raining to the shops already packing up for the day.

Voices filled the air, mindless chattering among all of the people there. The lights are dimming as well as they continued to pack up.

Dorran's voice is also very audible as he talked to Ellie on the phone trying to convince her not to send Alex and the car to them.

"What are you talking about?" Carlotta asked, standing beside him. "What did you see?"

"This is Kaia's world. A world we have no right to." He answered, breathing out a foggy mist that dispersed as soon as it mixed with the air.

"Kaia does not have her own world," Carlotta said with a laugh. "This is just something else we need to ask her about and she will tell us."
