Alex walked out of the car and ran to open the door for both of them, Dorran stepped out first and Kaia followed after, trying to steel her nerves as she felt the gun in her pocket.

Hopefully, this will not turn into a blood bath, Carlotta will smell the blood when we get back. What am I supposed to do also anyway?

She looked at Dorran fixing his coat with an annoyed expression on her face. I wish he just warned me last night or something.

"Don't look so nervous, Kaia." He said, bending over and looking at her. "I won't let you die."

"I couldn't trust you with that." Kaia signed, looking away from her. They were, pretty much, in the middle of nowhere with withered trees as far as the eye can see and burnt grass. In the middle of all these is a large warehouse looking thing.
