Kaia looked at the book, blinking her eyes at it in the best pouting expression on her face. 

"Fine. You can tell them," it said, giving up. "They have already known about this so, the more the better. By the way, I think I will need to talk to that Dorran guy." 

"Dorran? Why?" 

"He held the trinket right?" it asked. 

"Yes. But it's with me now." She signed, pulling up her sleeves to show the shiny thing on her arm. 

"Yes, it is with you. So we do not have to worry about you or your life, for now." It said, flying around the empty hazy place again. "What I am interested in is not the trinket, it is the boy." 

"Why?" 

"He was trained his whole life to carry the trinket." It said, "I will not always be able to talk to you. So, I will need to have a backup. He will be the most likely candidate."
