In The Eyes of the Beholder

Max opened his eyes at the first break of sunlight as it reached his eyes.

He looked around him to see that he had fallen asleep while sitting propped up on the bed.

Shia and Kaia appear to still be asleep in front of him so he got out of his bed. The cramps in his body hurting from the position he had been the entire night

He stretched, trying to get the soreness out of his body. As a knock came on the doors and a soft voice followed it.

"Hello. I came to check on the vitals."

"Coming," Max said, trying to walk forward but he did so unsuccessfully as his legs were numb and he fell face forward on the floor.

Quickly standing up, he rubbed his nose in pain while still making his way to open the door.

"Hi." He said opening the door as the nurse smiled at him brightly.

"Yeah." He said, yawning as he ruffled his hair. "Please come in."
