The two did not make any other expression as they watched Kaia's body be laid in the casket that Alex picked out. The two did not want to follow him in picking this out.

They still could not believe that she is really gone.

Though the same could not be said of their other two friends.

Aliya and Faith bawled their eyes out as their parents held the two as gently as they could.

They only told the two that morning itself and they thought it was all a joke at first but, upon seeing her colourless body, they started to freak out immediately.

Not many people came that day. It was only Shia, Max, Aliya and her mother as well as Faith and her parents. Sae and Ellie came as well and were wiping their eyes with handkerchiefs.

There was not much of a program, they hired a priest to pray over Kaia's soul and that was it. Though they did arrange for snacks to be passed around.
