Max met with the woman and her daughters as they were trying to get dinner ready.

He knocked on the door of the kitchen and said, "Hello, may I come in?"

"Oh, hello." The woman quickly walked to him and so did the oldest daughter. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Unfortunately, we didn't," he said, sighing. "We are going to come back tomorrow and check again, is that alright with you?"

"Of course." She said, smiling brightly at him.

"Come anytime you want," Lilly said, smiling brightly at him.

"Sure." He gave them a small bow. "Thank you for accommodating us even if we were such a bother."

"You are all very nice kids. Why would I think that?" She asked, chuckling. "Would you like to stay for dinner?"

"Yes. Yes. Stay." Lilly said, a little too excitedly. Max couldn't help but smile at her as she reminded him a little bit of Aliya.
