Better

Walking out of the house, they couldn't help but notice that some of their neighbours, those that never even cast them a second glance had come out and were looking at them with envy.

"Why are they looking at us like that?" Lily asked and suddenly gasped as they got out of the gate.

Right in front of them is a limousine, the latest model at that.

"Mother." She pulled at the sleeve as all four stared at the car in awe.

"I know." She said, squealing. "Didn't I tell you that he was important?"

"Holy-" Florence said, mouth almost hitting the floor as she stared at the vehicle. "Is this for us?"

"Is it not to your liking?" One of them asked. "We could get you a better one."

"This is fine." The mother said, smiling at them.

"Why didn't you ask for a better one, mother?" The two asked.
