"We are almost home," Shia said as those words seemed to awaken something in the girls.

Florence looked at Lily and asked, "Where are we going to stay, Lily?"

"We will think of something." Lily tried to reassure her sister while she fiddled with her fingers.

"Maybe we can ask Shia if we can stay with her. Just for the time being?" Emily asked as the three turned to the girl looking intently out the window.

"Wouldn't we be relying on her too much?" Florence asked.

"We don't really have that much of a choice at the moment, do we?" Lily asked, frowning slightly. "But … I don't want to ask her either."

"You need to try," Emily said to Florence. "Shia is closer to you than to us."

"But, I don't want to ask her." She said, almost shouting at them. "I can't ask her. She did too much for us already today."
