Child of Two Bloods

Everything went too fast. After I was being grabbed by an arm, the next thing I saw was tall trees surrounding me, as I was sitting on the green grass. The sunlight was hitting every part of my body, and it brings me heat. Because of what happened earlier, sweat started pouring out of my body. Crickets started making noise because of the heat.

But I didn't let it bother me, as that wasn't the problem right now.

"Cainne… Dalary… everyone…" I spoke their names as if I haven't for years. I continued to lower my head and just stared at the ground. My whole body didn't have the energy to stand up and walk, since I was still shivering. I know that the Lamician chase wasn't just about me, but I'm still guilty that I'm the only one who survived here. Because of me and the long journey I had, this wouldn't be happening.
