3. The First Meeting
Just like always, James checking his patients one by one. His patients fortunately keep showing stable conditions and all of them not having any serious problems. Finish with checking the patients, James then heading to his room to take a rest for a while since today's he is at the night shift duty.

"Leah, i got new info about our suspect. He is now hiding in an abandon old house near the national hospital. Come here ASAP or he will hiding again". It was called from detective Richard Young or known as the beard Richard cause his thick beard on his face. Richard Is Leah partner for this 3 years, though he is more senior than her. The call woke up Leah, and immediately she change her clothes and go to the location.
Leah and Richard right now handle a murder drugs case. The suspect is a drug dealer that suspected to kill his drugs business competitor. He is also suspected to kill a cashier when he robbed a grocery store for running out of money.
Not so long Leah arrive at the location. Richard waiting in old car warehouse not so far from the old house. "Is there any movement from the house?
"No Leah, you know that he is wounded. I think he is rest or sleep but I'm not sure said Richard. "I called backup on my way but seems they might arrive late. I heard there was big accident at the main street, really bad accident. Should we just enter?? Leah asking.
... ok, let's do it Leah.
When Leah and Richard ready to walk to the old house, there is a police car arrive and 2 uniform police immediately join them. "Sorry detectives, we coming late. The other busy with the big accident" explain the female officer with name tag Sanders and his partner name's Neville.
"Ok, no problem. are you guys ready? Let's enter the house. Remember, the suspect is dangerous and he is carrying a gun. You got that?
Yes detective Young, we got that.
The four of them prepare to enter the house from the front and back doors. Luckily though it is an old house the owner keep little bit of lights. And they ready to breaks in... "CWPD, drop you weapon!!! Leah yell while kicking the front door. Not so long gun shots were hear....
"Suspect wounded, one officer injured, request for ambulance immediately... i repeat ASAP!!!

James resting in his chair. The night so quite today. About 10 minutes he closed his eyes when someone knocks his room and enter straight away. "Dr Greyson, sorry but we have urgent emergency cases. There was big accident at the main street. There is tourist bus with full of people that crashed the underground gas pipes contractions. The victims will be arriving in a moment". It was the head of on duty nurse, Paula De Souza that woke him up.
15 victims arriving at the hospital. 5 death on the accident spot due the gas blows, 7 heavily injured because the fire burning, and 3 victims that luckily only having minority injuries but shaking and trembling after facing the fatal accident. James with the other night shift duty doctors and medical staffs doing the best they can with the accident victims.
After several operations in turn that takes few hours to do, all the 7 heavily victims already in ICU unit rooms with major observations. The other 3 victims also resting in their rooms with their family accompanying.
Doctor Michele Hanson, the other night shift on duty doctor came out from the rest room when then she saw an ambulance arrived with a man with gun shot wound in his left shoulder. Follow by uniform police. "Doctor, we have a crime suspect and one officer injured" Inform one of the police to doctor Hanson.
"Alright... take the gun shot patient to operation room and call doctor Greyson to handle the officer" order doctor Hanson to a male nurse.
James thought that the hell of the night finally over. Doing several operations in only few hours make him exhausted. And then he heard a nurse calling him. From her he find out that there was crime suspect and police that injured in arresting raid. The crime suspect is under operation by doctor Hanson, so he will take care the police officer.
And that's the first time Leah and James met.
