8. Meeting at The Party (Part I)

Burt Johnson is current Chief in CWPD precinct 12. Under his lead precinct 12 is selected to be one of the best police precincts in Clear Water city. The local people committees also awarded him for his achievements in precinct 12, such as high rates in solving cases, personals minimum casualties during activities, and the more "humane" treatments to every suspects and inmates that in under custody.

According Burt Johnson, that suspects and inmates are still human being like police officers even though their doing wrong things and crimes. Its police duties to guide them from the wrong path. The investigation, arrestment, interrogation and custody, all processes must be done in professional but also with respecting humanity rights.

Burt Johnson used to be Peter Armstrong junior officer in precinct 7 many years ago before Peter resigned due of his old injured in his army time. For Leah, Burt Johnson is a role model of police officer after her own father.

His wife, Ivanka has a charity club that often gives donations to orphanages, nursing houses, stray animal shelters, etc. Grace Armstrong also the charity club member, and Ivanka is also best friend of Grace.

James standing in front of mirror checking his look. He wear black suits with inside vest. He wear his favourite chronograph black leather watch Rolax in the right hand. He really like this watch which he bought after 6 months of salary. His monthly salary is 12,000 Imperial Zollar (IZL) which pretty high. But James always send half of his salary to his childhood orphanage. Though he knew the orphanage received regular donations but still he want to do it and his happy he can do it.

After spraying his parfum, Hot Water by Daviroff through his body, he see the mirror again... and his ready for the party.

The clock still at 7.00 pm but he decided to go out early to see Clear Water city night sceneries with driving his silver Merceres Bens car with only 55 - 65 speeds.

The party is held in Clear Water city theater hall. Since the party host is a police chief of course most of the guests are police, DA representatives, lawyers and some city officials.

After 30 minutes driving, James arrived at the theater. He wait for Tom Arnold in parking area near with theatre front entry door. Less than 10 minutes he saw 2 vans enter parking area. Tom Arnold approaching James after finish giving instructions to his crews.

"Mr. James Greyson, look at you.... There is no any women that will not interested when they see you. Tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, a doctor with good monthly payment, Im wondering why are you still single?", those are the first words that coming from Tom's mouth.

James laugh,"Is that a compliment from a famous musician that keep single after broke up with his fiance 2 years ago?",James mocked back.

They hugging each other, talking and laughing for few more minutes before together entering the front hall door.
