Hooman could only tighten his fists on the handful of fabric from Javid's collar. His other fist was clenching hard sending his nails digging painfully into the flesh in his balm. Javid couldn't help but chuckle as he saw the fear that was in his brother's eyes, those eyes that looked like a replica of his own. 

His brother knew full well that Javid was saying was nothing but the truth. Everyone on court was too busy keeping the king satisfied with his demands that no one actually had the time to take care of the people out there. No one cared that poverty was at its peak. The people are going to run out of patience. Honestly, getting invaded by Kemet didn't sound so bad after all. At least they would be living under the care of a righteous Emperor.
