The talent show ended and the winner is from the other year. They are glad that they win even though it's second place.
"It's okay guys, Pip and Rich did a great and also the dance is great. Great job" Mr. Sy compliment them as they cheer themselves.
Catherine is been silent the whole time that Piper notice her. The class are going back to their respective tents.
Natty, Catherine and Piper are behind while the boys are already planning what will they do later at night.
"You seems silent after our performance" Piper said while glancing at Catherine. Natty is listening to them and she has thought that is bothering her.
"Nothing" she said while smiling, Piper knows that kind of smile. Something might bothering her that's why she is like that.
"Girls I think I need to talk to Zaizen" Natty said when they got to their tent. Actually their tent is beside the boys and they can hear their laughters.
"Honestly I've been noticing that Zaizen is acting strange" Catherine said and Piper taken back about what Catherine has said.
"I notice that too, he seems hiding something. Piper did you notice something too?" Natty asked, Piper gulped as she remember what happen in the hallway.
She can't lie so this is she need it. She don't know what's gotten to her but she want to confirm before she said something.
"You seems cold to each other. I mean you two are not talking that much" Piper said and Natty didn't notice the sweat in her foreheads but Catherine does.
"I'm going to talk to him" Natty said and she go out of the tent.
As soon as Natty go out of the tent, Catherine pull her closer. Piper gulped because she knows that Catherine notice it.
"Tell me" Catherine said and Piper had no choice but to say what she saw that day.
"That's what I know, okay? I can't say directly to Natty because I'm afraid that Zaizen might get angry to us. Half that they are just friends and half that maybe they are something above that" Piper explain, even Catherine don't know what to do.
"Zaizen is also our friend and we can't just directly we need a solid evidence that maybe he is doing it" Piper said and Catherine think of it.
"But why are they hugging if they are just friends?"
"Uhm a goodluck hug?" Piper said and that made Catherine palm herself.
"A goodluck hug? Even you can't hug Zaizen for a goodluck"
"You're right, he has a girlfriend" Piper slowly understand what she is trying to say.
"But still why would they hug if they're not couple? Zaizen and Natty had not gotten into fights and clearly that Zaizen is in love with her" Catherine explain and Piper stratch her hair
"They fight about Stacy, also they're both aware of Stacy's feelings but what if Zaizen-" Piper stop as she realize what she is saying.
They both look at each other and they gasp.
"Maybe Zaizen accept it because he realize that he loves Stacy than her?" Piper said and Catherine find their discussion nonsense.
"I still can't understand, why he suddenly likes her? Like what the heck, feelings are hard to realize" Catherine said as she remember what she felt about earlier.
"You're right but how can you know that you like Rich?" Piper asked and Catherine glare at her.
Piper laugh when she saw Catherine's face. Catherine pout she hold her left chest and close her eyes.
Piper is observing her, Catherine feels the familiar feeling that she feel when she is with Rich. The performance of Rich and Pip can't escape in her mind.
"Piper, can people fall easily just the touch of his voice?" Catherine suddenly asked that made Piper smile, knowing that she might talk about Pip.
"If that voice touches your heart. Maybe yes but based on what I heared and watch lobe begins with a single touch of your heart" Piper explain while pointing at her heart.
Catherine sighs and she need to confirm this feelings. Pip is a friend to her just a friend but also she is afraid that Pip might hurt her.
"You need to make sure that feelings is not temporary because some fall in love with just a voice but nothings more" Piper said as she smile the usual smile that is pure.
Catherine thank her and they notice that Natty is still not come back. Catherine go outside to get some fresh air while Piper is going to sleep.
Her father told her to sleep early for her health of course. Catherine is sitting in front of the vending machine sipping at her hot choco.
Collecting her thoughts and when Pip goes to the vending machine, he look at Catherine who is spacing out.
"A penny for you thoughts?" Pip said while smiling in front of her. Catherine chuckled because he look stupid smiling.
"Just get your drinks and sit beside me" Catherine said and Pip get a soda. Pip open it as he drinks it.
"Wow" he said after he drink it, it was refreshing and his thoughts are getting clearer as he drink it.
"So what's bothering you?" Pip asked and Catherine look at him.
She is thinking if she want to share it to Pip. She sigh and she also want a honest opinion from him.
"I like someone else"
"I know" Pip said and Catherine look back at him. Pip smile but his eyes are sad, suddenly Catherine feels something that is in Pip.
"Who?" Catherine said while laughing at him. Pip chuckle as he look away, he drink the soda.
"I don't know but I can see it through your eyes" Pip answered
"Your eyes is pretty and expressive. Anyone can tell that if you are angry or not, are you happy or not. Anyone can tell" he said, Catherine smile as she look at the sky.
The sky is clear today, the stars are glowing the dark as the moon also glow. It was breathtaking to be see.
"But I also have something in my heart that telling me something something that I can't understand" Catherine explained
Meanwhile Rich and Jenrick get annoyed as they wait for the two to come back. Jenrick is already pouting because they told Pip to buy some drinks but he is still outside.
"Should I check Pip?" Rich asked and Jenrick nodded his head.
He is walking outside while his hands are on his pocket but when he saw Pip talking to Catherine, he step back to gave them privacy.
Honestly, he is not jealous or anything. It's just that he don't want to gave Catherine a hope for him because he already gave up.
He got a good talk with Pip when they were on a practice and he can say that Pip is an awesome guy.
"You like Catherine?" Pip asked that made Rich stop for a moment. He look at Pip and he shook his head.
"I like her before but things get change. You know the feeling that my brain tells me that I like her but the truth is already no" Rich explain as he fix his things.
"Catherine seems to like you"
"I know but you like her, right?" Rich asked and Pip slowly nod his head. Rich just smile and pat his head.
"You like the right person"
Rich snap out of his thoughts and he saw Stacy sitting under the tree. She looks like she is waiting for someone.
"Waiting for someone?" Rich said and Stacy flinched when he suddenly appear behind her.
"You scared me" she said and Rich just smile. He sit beside her that made her wonder why is this guy sitting beside her.
"We're not close and you are sitting beside me" Stacy said and Rich just ignore her. He look at the sky and he gasp as he adores the sky.
"You know that the more you reach the more it walk away" Rich said, still looking at the sky.
"And then?"
"Don't chase at someone. Let the destiny do the work" Rich said and he look at Stacy.
"What do you mean?"
"Me, Jenrick and Piper saw you two hugging. I know that you two are friends but considering that he has a girlfriend and that girlfriend is mad at you" he said directly and they saw Zaizen following at Natty.
"Do it in a proper way" he said and when he stand up, Stacy said something.
"I'm sorry but I can't stop myself. He said that his feelings are slowly fading and-"
"Then he is a jerk, he is just confused. You two need to stop it before Natty could found out. You are just torturing yourself" Rich said as he go back to the tent.
Stacy sigh and she shook her head. Zaizen told her that he is going breaking up with her. She has a trust on Zaizen. She believe that her bestfriend is also in love with her.
