Hospital - Part Three

Arthur, seeing that smile, immediately raised two fingers of his right hand as well.

"I don't think so, my dear little boss. First, I called you and asked the police for backup, as I was running out of time. Also, if I owed a favor, it would be for the police, which you just said was already paid for. One less." As soon as he finished speaking, Arthur lowered a finger.

"Afterwards, you protected me. That was a beautiful attitude, I admit. But I felt the relief in your eyes that you had every time you talked about Carlos's death. You know he got what he deserved. And finally, you did it not as a favor, but as a test. One less." Arthur then finally lowered his last finger.

"You are smart. I must admit! It seems that I lost two favors from a genius." As soon as he finished speaking, Shadow burst out laughing. "In fact, stop calling me 'boss'. My name is Gabriel. And I'm not even lying, dear Mr. Felipe." Another mysterious smile appeared on Shadow's face.

"And you don't miss a thing for me, roofer repairman! My name is Arthur!"

The two then shook hands, but this time without nicknames or masks.

"And so? You said you were going to give me the news. You can throw it all at once, good or bad." Arthur broke the relaxed mood in the room with his question, replacing it with a more serious one.

"I had almost forgotten! Well, there is only one bad news in the whole story. If whatever happened happens again, your heart is likely to stop, or you have a mental breakdown, going into a vegetative state."

"If you're wondering the reason for all this, it's quite simple. Remember when we were on stage fighting and, as I said at the time, that you went into a super active state?" Gabriel waited for Arthur's positive nod before continuing.

"That was basically it. Your body received large doses of Adrenaline, with subsequent doses of endorphins. Enough for your body to explode every muscle and you feel nothing. This led to cardiac arrest, then a heart attack and another cardiac arrest."

"After much sacrifice from the hospital to draw your blood, enough Adrenaline was found to inject into a horse and he died instantly. Nobody knows how you are doing so far. This was also kept secret only from the people involved. The rest of the hospital just thinks you passed out and that's all."

"This is common among mercenaries, having a stronger body and stronger reactions, but you have strayed too far 'normal', so I decided to cover up the case. I will not force you to tell me anything, relax. I just hope it doesn't happen again, otherwise you'll be in a grave in less than a day. Capitche?" After it was over, Gabriel gave Arthur a wink.

"Relax, man. I'm fine now. I have no idea what could have happened to me, but make sure it won't happen again." Understanding Gabriel's message, Arthur only answered sincerely.

He doesn't know why, but he knows the feelings he was feeling when he got out of control. As long as he learned to deal with them better, the chances of going crazy again were low.

As Arthur thought, the silence in the room was interrupted by a low knock on the door.

knock! knock! knock!

"Come in!"

As soon as Arthur shouted, the door opened and two people appeared at the entrance to the room. They were Silva and Thomas. They were dressed casually, and Thomas was carrying a backpack on his back. His face was also somber.

"It looks like you really are troublesome, boy! You doesn't even have a month of work and already sends me a justified absence like that! Hahaha!" Silva was the first person who spoke, laughing heartily.

"I'll make it up to you later. Thank you for bringing Thomas here." Arthur spoke, while nodding to Silva in thanks.

"How did you know that I had brought him!?" Surprise was displayed on Silva's face. Arthur hadn't even left the hospital, so how did he know it was he who brought Thomas?

Gabriel also looked at Arthur with a little interest.

"It's simple, Mr. Silva. This guy here knows where I am living. He must have contacted you, who took the opportunity to stop by the hotel and picked up Thomas. In addition, you arrived together. From what I know of Thomas, he would not have waited for anyone to come and see me." Arthur spoke, while pointing at Gabriel and then got out of bed and went over to Thomas, ruffling his hair a little.

"It seems that you are more than meets the eye, boy! You nailed it!" Silva spoke again, with surprise in his voice.

"I'm just a normal person."A smile appeared on Arthur's face. He immediately looked at Thomas and spoke: "Hey? Did you miss me? I'm gone for just a few hours and you're already as dark as that!"

Silence...

Arthur received nothing in response. The mood in the room got a little strange.

But soon everyone saw that Thomas moved. He was placing the backpack on the floor.

He opened it and reached inside, pulling out a ... stick? It was something like that, and it was entirely white.

"I remember saying something like killing you next time, didn't I?" While was down, a cold voice came from Thomas's lips.

"You can only be kidding, right? Stop the joke, man! I almost died and you already want me to come back? hahaha" Arthur again gave a silly smile. What Thomas said was funny to him.

"Yes I want!"

At that moment, Thomas moved and hit the stick in his hand on Arthur's shins.

"Oouch!! Hey, stop! Stop !! "Arthur continued screaming as Thomas hit him with the bat.

"If! You! Let! Me! Worried! Again! I! Will! Bring! A! Fucking! Knife! Next! Time!" Every pause Thomas took was a blow that Arthur took somewhere on his body. His voice also started to become tearful, but he was doing everything he could to hold on.

Arthur obviously wasn't feeling any of those blows, but he wasn't going to say. His body was already tough enough to withstand a diamond cut, so he would be able to withstand a few blows. In addition, the stick was made of glued paper.

He was just letting Thomas vent his anger. It was already the second time he had done this in the month, and even if it was not on purpose, he could not tell Thomas to stop worrying.

This continued for a few minutes, before Thomas released the staff and finally started to cry.

Arthur had to console him for a while and said it was just a faint and he had no problem.

Everything was finally at peace. In Thomas's backpack were some of Arthur's clothes. The discharge procedure was already underway, so he could leave in an hour or two. There was also a tablet, but Thomas was now playing with it.

All of Arthur's belongings were being kept in his inventory, so there was nothing of him that Thomas could bring but clothes.

After getting dressed and finally getting rid of that horrible hospital gown, Arthur relaxed on the bed, waiting for the discharge order.

After a while, when Silva left the room to go to the bathroom and Thomas was entertained on the tablet doing God knows what, Arthur finally asked Gabriel.

"How are the kids? Did they come to this hospital or did they go to another one?" His voice sounded more serious, and his perfect eyebrows were slightly frowned.

"They went to the children's hospital to receive treatment. I already got some news from there. Some were orphans and others are already with their parents. "

"Another thing is that there was no coitus between the children and Carlos. He possibly did other things with them while they were sedated."

"There was a very high concentration of sedative in their bodies, with a greater number in that of boys. This indicates that they were sedated most of the time."

"Incredibly, there were no signs of internal or serious injury to the children. It seems that he did not abuse it in an overly aggressive way."

"After they get rid of their bodies from drugs, they go to a rehab center. The process should be easier because they are unconscious, so there may be no incurable psychological trauma."

"And where's the motherfucker?" Arthur asked again, but this time a trace of murderous intent flowed unintentionally.

"Morgue. He still arrived alive at that hospital, but after a few hours of surgery, his completely detonated body couldn't take it anymore. It looks like a truck had run over him after the fire. All the bones were broken or dislocated. It was heavy, man!" After he finished speaking, Gabriel looked at Arthur with a smile. He knew that the man in front of him must have a really irreconcilable history with the dead man to leave him in that state.

"It doesn't even come close to what that psychopath deserved. But since he is dead, there has no more problems." After he heard that Carlos was really dead, only then did Arthur really relax.

After waiting for some time, Arthur's discharge finally came out. He found that Sinner was waiting for him at the hospital entrance. There were three cars side by side, and they are very different from each other.

An old Chevrolet pickup truck, a BMW Series 3 and a Porsche 911.

"I'll give you that day of rest, boy! Don't make up for missing tomorrow." Silva told Arthur, before getting into his truck and leaving.

"I will also be waiting for you at the Arena. We need to solve a lot of things!" Like Silva, Gabriel got into the Porsche and drove away.

With Sinner driving the BMW, Arthur and Thomas also left for the Hotel.
