Dionisius

As white and perfect as his teeth were, Arthur still had the feeling that brushing three times was still not enough. The shower ended at 6 pm, but it was already 7 pm and he was looking lost in his wardrobe.

"I wish Narnia existed now..." With an overwhelming urge to jump into the closet to prove his theory, he just sat up in bed and sighed. Running a hand over his face, he began to think about his current situation. 'I shouldn't be so nervous. That was the most logical decision and the one that protected the most people... Her leaving was the wordless agreement... but why I'm so afraid?...'

"Is there a problem?" Amanda appeared at the bedroom door. She didn't even notice that Arthur was only wearing a towel, and was just worried about why he was so tense and nervous.

"Let's say your wife appears through your bedroom window one day, magically..." Arthur spoke suddenly and without restraint, showing his confidence in her to vent what he felt: "How would you react?"

"Kind of suspicious, but truly happy that she was with me." Amanda didn't even blink an eye in reply.

"But what if she doesn't? What if she forgot you? What if everything you did for her was worthless? What if the only reason she appears in front of you is to say goodbye? What would you do?" As he closed his eyes and collapsed on the bed, Arthur asked too many questions at once.

"So she's not my real wife. I would keep looking for her until the day I die..." Amanda realized he was a little lost, so she didn't hesitate to reach out and stroke his hair, like a gentle mother.

"But what if you're sure it's her?" Arthur asked as he looked directly at her. It was visible in his eyes the size of the internal struggle.

"What if Nicola Tesla was afraid of electricity? What if Marie Currie accepted the role of matriarch and gave up her experiments? What if Albert Einstein decided to be just another common man? What if Isaac Newton decided to just become a cleric with no time for science? Don't you think the world would be a lot worse now?" Amanda returned the questions. These were questions that could only be answered if they actually happened, and that was what she wanted to get across to him.

"I hate comparisons..." Arthur turned around, not wanting to admit that she was right.

"Regardless of what you're facing right now, get your ass off the bed and put on your clothes. Whoever your block is must be faced tonight." Amanda patted Arthur on the chest and stood up, throwing him some clothes. "A real leader and man must face all his battles, even if fear consumes his heart!" She finished by looking deep into him. She knew what to say because she went through the same thing for her wife, but she couldn't give up for the sake of others.

"Shouldn't women also face their battles? A little sexist..." Arthur took the clothes as he smiled.

"Not only are we not afraid, women don't face battles because they end before they begin." Amanda winked at him.

"Why does it still seem sexist?..."

"Get dressed!"

"Hello, darling. Ready for a ride?" Arthur ran his hand affectionately over the car. Getting into the Audi R8, the engine began to roar like a lion.

Comfortable and calm, Arthur used whatever time he needed to drive the car around town. Wherever he went, he drew attention.

But Arthur didn't care much about this attention, and he didn't even think he was being a show off. Only people who have spent their entire lives in luxury are humbled when they suffer a setback. For people who used to live in poverty, if they are smart enough, they will be as rich and proud as possible when given the chance. It might not be about material possessions, but everyone likes to be bigger than the other in some way, and it was just necessary to understand that to get along in life.

He stopped in front of a bakery on the way and parked the car. For someone supposedly going to a party, he was going pretty plain. Long white shirt with black details, black pants and black and white sneakers. His clothing colors always rotated around that color, so it was what he had in the closet. He had even thought about wearing a jacket, but thought better of it.

Entering the bakery, Arthur looked a little out of place by his clothes, but he still ignored it. He went further inside and ordered a pudding to go.

He made another trip to a market and bought ice-cold carbonated water, light juices, and some headache and body ache meds and some massage gels.

Throwing everything into the inventory, Arthur sped to his final destination.

"Are you sure about that? Don't you think they'll stop us for being underage?" A girl was lying on the bed while she was waiting for her friend to finish getting ready.

"In addition to you being all dressed up, did you forget about fake IDs? Not to mention that I don't look underage, right?" Pausing on her makeup for a moment, Patricia looked at her friend doubtfully.

"Why do you want to go to this place so much? Just because your ex is going?" The girl stood up so she wouldn't ruin her clothes and makeup.

"It's not about that! It's already past, I need to have fun, relax. Just being locked in this shit sucks, not to mention I can get someone to buy us some candy..." She continued to put on makeup as she presented her arguments.

"I don't want the candies, thank you. I'm feeling like I'm going to have colic, so dying of a headache and body ache at the same time is something I don't want to get tested for."

"You who knows... All I know is that at this party I'm going to rock it and show that bastard what a free woman is!"

"Your arm isn't 100% healed, so I'm in charge of escorting you there!" A tall, strong black man spoke to an angry teenager in front of him. It was Knight and Cesar.

"You act all right, but I know you let him go! If you wanted, that scoundrel would have seen a real spectacle that night!" Cesar jabbed an irritated finger at Knight's face as he spoke, indignantly.

But he soon regretted his actions as Knight's gaze turned cold and the air around him chilled.

"Don't forget your position only as the chief's grandson, and not even the main. I work WITH your grandfather, not FOR his family. And he hired me to come here to accompany you!" His voice was intimidating and completely different from usual. It was clear that he felt very angry and disgusted with Cesar.

Without another word, he got in his car and waited for Cesar to get into his and drive.

'Today's kids can't see a new nightclub open that they already want to go to...'

Arriving in a more suburban area and away from the downtown, Arthur could already hear the noise of the muffled music from afar, not to mention the vibrant lights. The police would have no problem with them because there was no one living close by, and this region was already known to be home to these places.

Parking his car in a nearby spot, Arthur got out. He walked to a nearby building and quickly climbed it. This building was directly opposite the nightclub. The place that was the old nightclub that Arthur remembered from the threats he made to Victor was completely renovated. It was bigger, prettier and less advertising 'here's prostitution and drugs'. The base color was burgundy with dark accents. A vibrant sign with the name Dionisius in cursive lettering graced the entrance.

Pulling out a small chair from the Inventory, Arthur watched the movement of the nightclub's entrance. It was already 8 pm and with very few people, almost none.

"They should be inside by now..." Taking a sip of his soda, Arthur continued to watch the entrance.

By 9pm, the time he was called, the entrance already looked a little different. There were some people who arrived early to leave early. These were usually the college kids who wouldn't get too crazy or drunk in there because they had a thousand assignments to turn in in two days. It was also around the time the younger ones arrived.

The security guards were already at the door looking at the entrance, and Arthur smiled at the sight of those two. One as tall as a stick, with more hair on his head than a woman. The other was fatter than he would have liked and so bald that you could see your reflection if you polished it.

"The fat and the thin. They must be waiting for me and will call the others... Aar, I have to go, right..." Pulling things back into the Inventory, Arthur jumped off the building into a nearby alley. All this action would give people a bit of a shock, as he landed as light as a feather.

As he walked down the alley, he didn't see that a group of teenagers was gathering around his car and another sports car parked next to it.
