Haunted Home

A quiet house, semi-detached housing. It appears has an average English house of red bricking and single glazed windows. A comfortable family house of three bedrooms, nice back garden and driveway for off street parking. One half of this house has been mostly empty since 1966. Owned by the Pritchard's whom had enough with the torture of supernatural activity.

The truth of the matter, they did put up with the years of strange happenings. They had even named the ghost, 'Fred'. Strange foam from tap water and toilet. The electric flickering (the constant having it checked by qualified electricians that cant find the faults). Moving furniture. Jumping plants. The photos being torn to shreds over the floor. Mysterious flooding in the kitchen that disappears without a trace.

The Pritchards left when those with the tolerance passed away, left to be inherited by other member. Now infamous as the 30 East Drive, a sort of paranormal investigation place to rent the night at. It makes for good TV with just many cameras crews whom came and gone. All at the hope of capturing the Black Monk or other fantastic evidence of the spirits beyond.

The current neighbour sharing this half shell is a foster family whom love the supernatural. They promised to watch over the property while no ghost tours are open, and have emergency access when someone gets locked in or seriously injured. Sometimes having to go in the back for the electric meter or breaker switches. They don't really mind the banging from their empty neighbor side, nor have they ever fussed about being watched from the windows of the empty place.

Yet due to the supernatural nature of this place, their half also has interesting things that happen. Like the attic door opening all the time. The share of never using the tap water or relying on to not flicker. Not having any hanged photos up.

"This place has plenty of space for us to take on fostering. We just have ghost problems." David making tea for the case worker whom is overseeing the application for them to become a family, "We take procurations like having tinned foods and plenty of bottled water. We lock everything sharp items away." The worker makes notes, "It's up to you to believe or not. We certainly have tried everything to make this place as safe as possible. Even with having a insurance that covers any faulty electrics."

"We had all this place gutted out and refitted before properly moving in. So we shouldn't have any problems." Greg nervously laughed a little.

"Well then that covers the needed paperwork questions. I have a last tour around. Once everything is filed, you be added to the waiting list."

"We don't mind what age they are. We in no rush for sure." Greg guides through as David is quick to be spell casting to prevent anything abnormal from stopping this foster application getting through. The last thing he needs is that the case worker being wheeled out into a ambulance because some ghost opens the attic on her. Hiding any protective wards out of her view as she is checking the children's rooms.

"You have a fresh bueatiful house. I can see you both doing great. Being with good transport links to the schools around here. You have my hope. Here, a business card for any questions missed and good luck." She smiles with getting into the car waving off the two men. She sighed in finding them acting naturally nervious as wannbe parents do. She puts her bag and files onto the empty passager seat, catch glimpse up to the up stairs windows. She gave a little wave to the stranger upstairs.

She puts the car into gear, backing out... stopping a moment for just one last glance. Just to be sure of what she thought was there. Rolls the automatic window down to be sure.

The dark brooding figure not in the window anymore. The other side a empty shell with a slightly unkept garden. Her mind ponders, but it was the only odd thing about this place. She had weirder encounters with fosters unfit to foster before. Or at locations she never thought possible as living space. She continues her day.

"And out of the driveway. she taking a right turn." Greg shouting updates, "She clearly seen something but thought nothing strange."

"If that's true, give me a hand at mopping the bedroom." Greg looks around confused with once assuming David was behind him. But given that was up stairs with the accompany of mop slapping wood... he sighed and gets right to it. Stomping up the stairs and jumped at timing of the attic door falling down. He sighed in fuss with looking at ordering a better plank to cover the ceiling to the attic with.

"Mind the bucket on your way in." David announcing.

"We got to see about having a god follower purify this place." Greg making it in. Hands on deck to sorting out mysterious leak issue.
