This Is Impossible...

Hearing the contestants, jointly quitting the match the entire hall suddenly turned quiet.

Everyone knew they took the easiest way out of the mess, while also hitting the royalty and the organizers as hard as they could.

After all, all three of them were the top contestants of this year.

However, it didn't stop there. Following them, other contestants too walked forward, one after another. They only spoke two words.

"I quit."

After a few seconds, there were only two contestants left, one was the princess. The other, however, Eden didn't recognize.

Strangely the system didn't give him any notification, meaning the second person still hadn't quit.

In other words...

Looking at the two remaining people who were left to quit, Eden pointed towards the boy.

"So that's the other guy." Turning towards the person whom Eden pointed, suddenly Laffey spoke.

Eden too looked at Laffey in questioning gaze.

"That's Haiky!" feeling the gaze, Laffey turned to Eden.

Hearing him only a few gasped, in a knowing manner. However, Eden and Victor still looked questioningly.

"Haiky! Master Nolan's son!" Laffey continued looking at both of them.

Finally, Eden understood everything.

Not just him, every contestant understood. The reason, why the first and second rank couldn't be claimed by them, Master Nolan.

Master Nolan was one of the master designers in the Dome Star Cluster. He was the person, who until a few months ago, used to fabricated design for all the Dome Cluster military personnel.

From ground-based, all the way to the space-based, combat suits, and sometimes also the mechs.

Before quitting, the master had called in a large press conference to claim that, he had enough with designing, for the fourth-rate star system. And it was time to let the younger designers shine.

Who knew, the next thing he planned was to sent his son to the competition and also, went ahead and bought the top spot.

If not for the princess suddenly appearing on the competition, he would have been able to claim the first rank.

"Damn, I never thought Master Nolan was such a manipulator." Suddenly one contestant replied.

Eden too nodded at the clam. Finally understanding the situation, the general too was making an ugly face.

Looking at the contestants, the host finally sighed in relief and slowly stood up to carry on with the ceremony.

Now that they had quit, he didn't have to make any new matches. He was extremely satisfied.

However, before he could stand, Eden, Laffey and Victor walked towards the princess.

The audience was looking forward to what they were about to do, when all three of them, suddenly bowed a little in front of her.

"Your Highness, we will be taking our leave."

"Yes!?" Hearing them, she answered and questioned with a single word.

However, they turned around and left the hall. It was stupid for them to stay any longer for the host to deliver his final speech.

Getting the cue, all other contestants too bowed to the princess, before finally leaving the hall.

Looking at the mechanics' action, everyone was gobsmacked. One had to realize, that the entire event was board-casted live on the entire cluster. Some even were watching the event online.

Everyone understood that they had no plans on waiting for the host to deliver his nonsense speech on who ranked first, what great achievement they got, what great performance they showed, while they knew that was all just a lie.

Also, there was no need for the contestants to stay there any longer when they had already quit the contest.

Eden would rather, get hit by lightning than humiliate himself any longer.

In the end, the entire hall had only two contestants remaining. Looking at the almost empty stage, the audience also felt stupid to stay any longer.

One by one bowing before the princess, they too left their seats and started leaving the hall.

In another minute, the entire hall became empty.

The remaining boy contestant felt a huge amount of fear hence, turned to bow at the princess, but was suddenly stopped by the general's gaze filled with rage.

The boy didn't want to stay there any longer, he knew what kind of mess he had gotten himself into. However, he just couldn't leave.

The general was silent, the host was silent, the hall was silent.

However, they also couldn't take any action, by claiming, they were disrespectful or such because they knew it was the royalty and the organizers who were the disrespectful ones.

Suddenly on the top of a hall, a wall rolled down revealing a hidden room.

From there appeared two figures followed behind by, other few figures.

The general, suddenly looked towards the host and asked, "Are we still live?"

The host shook his head before replying, "No, closed the moment, the audience left."

Looking at the people above, the princess finally teared up, "Mother."

The Queen at once ran down the stairs, towards the princess, before finally hugging her.

Looking at the princess crying, the queen too started crying. Looking at the two ladies crying the person dressed up in red with golden chains and decorations too turned sad.

"Your Highness." The general turned towards the King before continuing, "This did not go as everyone planned."

The king actually looked sad looking at how the entire situation turned out till the end.

"That guy who named my daughter," the king turned towards the general in rage, "What's his name?"

The general turned towards the host to deliver him the information Eden entered on the registration form.

A floating screen popped up on the general's comm. After looking through the entire sheet, he was shocked. He suddenly turned towards the host and questioned."What the h*ll is this?"

Hearing the general, the host also turned the sheet on the screen to look, only to be shocked, "How?"

The entire registration form was full of gibberish letters. On the field that accepted alphabets, there was, abcdefg..., And where it accepted numerical values, 12345...

Looking at the sheet, the host almost threw up blood.

"Loot at the other's information." The general ordered.

However, everyone's registration turned out to be the same way. There were only two contestants whose information was not in gibberish.

The princess and the boy named Haiky.

"What is the meaning of this?" The king glared ferociously at the host.

"Please forgive me, Your Highness." The host replied kneeling before the king, "But I only read, what's been presented in front of me."

"..."

In rage the king finally ordered the general, "Get me the head of this person."

"Get me the recording of the feed," the general ordered the host.

Turning towards the terminal he pulled out the footage of the previous live broadcast.

Grabbing the storage chip, the host presented it to the general.

Putting the chip in his comm, the general finally opened up the feed to only be shocked.

"This. Is. Impossible."
