Sniffers...

Eden no longer planned on staying on this planet. Staying here any longer meant, getting the entire military behind his back.

Even though every information was cleared out of the database, if the military used their full force, there was no doubt, he would be caught.

Hence, the moment he left the hall he booked one of the rides to leave the Dome Star Cluster, for the nearest 'Ring Star Cluster', on this day. Even though he had to pay double the price.

Nobody wants to be marked by the entire royal family on his back.

Hence, just to make sure, as he was getting out of the hall, he went ahead and spent fifty thousand SP on destroying the entire information, the organizers had gathered, based on the what the mechanic designer like himself, had provided to them when they had registered for the competition, also including the entire competition footage.

It was absolutely necessary. Of course, he didn't care about the two remaining competitors, because they were different.

Also, even though the competition concluded without any results, the organizers somehow were still able to send out the ranking.

As he looked at the result, he was satisfied to see, that there was only the initial name of the top ten contestants and not the second or last name of the contestants.

"Probably got that from our terminal," he mumbled.

Like his own result, which was written simply as Eden. There was nothing else.

"Too bad, I can't remove the memories of the peoples," Eden exhaled.

However, looking at the results he was really surprised. Because he was ranked second.

"Woah!" Eden replied turning towards the system, "Hey System! I think I just proved you wrong."

[That you certainly did, Host.]

As he was planning to check on the rewards, suddenly he saw a few moments around him.

"System?"

[Please check on the map.]

Suddenly a hologram appeared on the corner of his eyes. There were almost thirty or so red dots surrounding him.

"They already gave orders, huh. Eden scoffed while walking down the streets, and looking towards one of the dots to see police until he was startled, "Wait, they actually mobilized the military?"

[They haven't recognized you yet. All the information on the database had already been removed. They are searching for you based on their own memories.]

Eden then too a deep breath, before again walking forward smirking, "Based on their memories? Now that's just sad."

Eden turned around and started walking towards the opposite path. Because the competition too was forcefully concluded, the path had suddenly become too crowded.

Also, a great chance for him to get out of the city.

.....

After crossing the street from one side to another and walking up and down, the elevated passways more than nine times as he was getting closer to the loop train to the next city.

That was where the ferry to the moon was located.

As time moved on, he felt like someone was constantly following him. Just to make sure, he was even checking the system's map time and again. But he could see nothing.

"Maybe I am getting a little bit paranoid," Eden mumbled.

However, suddenly he saw a red dot suddenly appear on the side of the map.

"Or, maybe not." Taking a deep breath he increased his speed. The train was going to leave in one minute.

Meaning, he needed to get out of here.

Making a 'Z' shape detour, he walked towards from another door into the station.

"I should probably enter on the front section of the train."

Eden planned before looking back at the map focusing on the red dot.

Strangely, though the red dot also followed the same 'Z' pattern.

"What the!?" Exclaimed Eden, looking at the strange behavior of the dot.

Increasing his speed, even more, he rushed directly into the train from the top, exactly as he planned before.

He just about to sigh in relief, when he found even more red dot getting, even more, nearer and nearer.

"What's going on?" Eden questioned looking at the location the red dot was pointing towards.

"System?"

[Military units.]

"I know that," Eden replied gazing at the incoming forces.

Finally, whey they were only a few meters away from him did he understood what was going on.

"F*cking sniffers." Eden cursed, before jumping on the opposite side of the train, and entering into another train, The moment he got in, he started walking as fast as possible without startling anyone, towards the end section.

'Sniffers' or the modified humans who have been genetically enhanced to track people based on smell.

How can he be sure they are the sniffers?

Why else would they have to take the same"Z" detour, that he previously took? Definitely a dog's ability.

"Probably got my scent from the terminal." Eden raged just thinking about it.

Normal people would not have recognized them.

If not for him, being able to see their moments on the system's map, he would not have been able to recognize them either.

Without looking back, the moment all military personnel entered into the second train from the top section, he again jumped out of the train into the initial train.

Looking at the military about to reach closer and closer to the train's end, he started to feel even more nervous.

Now there was nothing else he could do.

On one side, was the station, from where he had entered which was already being checked by around fifty or so soldiers. On the other side was the train filled with the soldiers who were following his scent.

Taking a deep breath, he mentally ordered.

"System. Switch luck to five hundred."

....

"We are getting closer," one of the soldiers spoke taking in a deep breath.

"You already said that," another replied, "like hundred times."

"Now that's not true." He turned around and replied.

"No need to turn around," the one behind him replied, "I can hear you just fine."

"Aah!" Suddenly a passenger screamed in pain, "What the hell?"

Turning around he saw his legs on top of the lady's feet. "Oh!"

"Oh! Oh!" The lady repeated, "What kind of reaction is that?"

"Lady." The person glared at the passenger, grabbing on the gun he replied, "Shut up and let us do our job."

In fear, the lady walked a step back. However, his actions cause a negative reaction to others who were around them.

"Did you just, point your gun?" A male beside her, ferociously glared the soldier, "At my wife?"

"We are the military." He replied, "Don't force us to take action."

"Military force?" Another guy scuffed, "From where? There is no military on this planet."

Suddenly another person joined the clues, which never existed, "Te... Te...Terrorist."

"The hell" the soldier replied in rage, "How did you come up with that nonsense?"

"Terrorist." another replied.

"Terrorist." Everyone started running, in a random direction.

Even the soldiers were getting pushed backward and forwards.

"Hey!" Suddenly the soldier behind him called, "We are losing the target."

Without answering them, all military personnel used force to push forward.

Exactly as they reached the end, suddenly all doors on the train closed.

"Hey! They raged, "Open the door."

.....

.....

In the moving train, Eden too sighed in relief.

"That was really scary." Eden finally sat down on the seat, "System, how many military forces are mobilized on the next city?"

[None.]

"Thank heavens."

[Yet.]
