Flashbacks...

So, now a question might arise.

When did he reach "The Valc Star Cluster"?

The answer is around one and a half years ago.

Three months after the DSCMC competition, when he was traveling at the center of the Ring Star Cluster.

The system had only told him, to prepare for the departure. Nothing else.

Even the Galactic Association, had never made a miniature teleportation device, which could teleport a person from one-star cluster to another.

The technology until now has only been able to teleport goods and stuff within one star cluster.

Living and breathing people was a whole other thing.

That didn't mean, they couldn't make one. But according to the association, the energy and the cost to teleport a living and breathing person, while guaranteeing one hundred percent success was very expensive.

And that was the reason, the association had for a long time, tried instead to focus entirely on building a massive teleportation portal, to be able to mass teleport, so as to decrease the cost and maximize the safety precautions.

Hence, when Eden was teleported to the center of the Valc Star Cluster, he was totally gobsmacked.

Didn't that make the system even powerful than the entire association?

Even more strange was the documents, provided by the system for his stay. Every document he presented on the university for his next mission...

[Enroll in the top University of the Valc Star Cluster.]

It was verified and concluded an ok.

And that's the reason, he became a student at Bright University, the number one University in the cluster.

After going through all these events, he was pretty sure nothing could ever surprise him any further. He was so wrong.

.... Flashback to the first day at the University...

...

"Everyone, let's welcome your new classmate, who will be studying with you all for next three years." The half-bald professor spoke pointing towards the door at the guy on the black cloak.

"As you can see he is wearing a black cloak, so he won't be placed on any groups and will be considered as the solo-designer. Like the few already on the class." The professor continued gesturing him to enter, before turning towards the new guy, "Introduce yourself."

Turning towards the fifty or so students he spoke with a gentle smile, "Hello everyone, my name is Eden."

"It's You!?"

He didn't even get to complete his introduction, when suddenly from the corner of the classroom, a lady's voice resonated in rage,

At once, everyone turned towards the person in the corner, who startled them, including the professor and Eden.

Eden was able to recognize the voice of the person who screamed at him easily. There was no way he could forget the irritating voice of The princess.

"The hell, how come this princess too got enrolled in the same University," Eden cursed in his mind. While turning his gaze away from her.

She was wearing a white cloak, meaning she was part of a study group in the class. Also, why were those males alongside her side, glaring at me? Those facial structures definitely didn't belong to people from Dome Cluster.

In any case, the interaction turned very awkward. After the initial sentence, he didn't speak anything else. There was also no reason to smile anymore.

Instead, he just went ahead and sat down on the empty seat behind, pretending as if he didn't know anything or anyone.

Clearing the voice, the professor started his class in a very stern voice, forcing everyone to forget the incident and focus on the professor.

Thankfully, similar incidents didn't occur a second time.

Though he could still see her, turning towards him time and again with a hint of anger.

The class then continued for the next five hours, non-stop. Professor also showed no signs of exhaustion, the entire time.

Eden was, however, after two hours, not feeling as good as other students. The primary reason being, him not spending SP on the physical and mental attributes. Nor taking any boosters.

Looking at those around him, he felt a bit off.

Even the princess was looking just fine. He didn't know how many boosters those around him had gone through.

That was only the remaining conclusion to the current situation.

"Mr, Eden." His professor apparently already felt his decreasing mentality. "I can see that you are getting weaker and weaker, as time passes by."

"Haven't you taken any boosters to increase your physique or strength?" He continued, "It's not a good idea to focus only on mental attributes."

"I will be sure to keep that in mind, professor," Eden replied making up his mind.

This was going to be the first time, where he was ready to spend thousands of SP on attributes.

Yes, thousands of SP. Eden knew however that he had himself to blame for this situation.

If he had spent, those SP beforehand, those stuff wouldn't have cost as much. But then the attributes might have changed into the rank mode, which was a total bullsh*t in his opinion. But this was also not that bad either. Because instead of just buying one attribute after another; in a single shot, the system stuffed him with hundreds of attributes point in a single buy.

And once the attributes reached a thousand units, the system will automatically change the entire attribute into the ranking mode.

Thankfully he only saw the rank on the systems status. He could still see the attribute value in the comm just fine.

As days passed on, he couldn't help but marvel at the teaching method of the university. This setup was just too good, right? Five hours of continuous study without any change in the pace.

Too good my *ss. How come there is no break in the middle?

"As expected of top University of the second-rate star cluster," he concluded while being taught by a master mechanic, "They really know how to torture the student."

And that was how he started his study on the Valc Star Cluster. Enrolling in the top University, while also being marked by the Princess herself.

"Good thing, I didn't go ahead and spoke my entire name," Eden mumbled under his breath.

The study was great. So was the procedure to take on the assignments. The practical class however was very, very different.

In his entire life, he had never ever gone through such a process.

Apparently a single course, which lasted for almost a week, could only be marked as completed when the student was able to sell the part of the mechanical suits, which he fabricated in the class.

Again and again.

This was also the method, how a student was supposed to pay for the study fee.

"Alright, gather around," the professor called every student around, at the end of the third week after Eden had joined, "Every single one of you should have already sold few mechanical suits before."

"Some of you should also have already registered a few designs, on your catalog." He continued, "Now it's time to go for something different."

The professor started speaking while pointing at the blank screen behind him, "All universities have just received a new study course along from a video from the Galactic Association today."

What did that mean?

Eden had no idea. But the screen in front of the students in the practical class started playing the video provided by the association.

"We professors have already seen the video," the professor confirmed looking at the student.

"But this sudden event, we believe is something you students should too know about."
