In the middle of a massive and highly advanced city, where one could see hundreds of personal vehicles zooming in the sky, and thousands of vehicles speeding through the sky roads stood a very tall glassy sixty floored building.
"The Bright University"
On the middle floor of the building, where one could see the reflection of the entire city, stood five students, in-front of one person.
If anyone were to listen closely to them, one could understand, the group was trying to use pressure on the other guy.
Suddenly, he opened his mouth.
"So... Let me get this..." He continued, "You want me to stop my production; because you hate my design."
"Nose-less Design."
"Nose-less Design?"
"Yes."
"So basically, my entire design?"
"No," the one in the middle of the group replied. "Only the nose-less models."
"You do realize, none of my designs on the catalog have a nose, right?" The guy in a dark University cloak questioned.
"Not My Problem." The guy in the middle of the group wearing a white cloak replied. "How about coming up with a new design?"
"With a nose, this time." Another guy on the white cloak supported him.
"And if I reject?" The guy in the black cloak replied, leaning on the glass with one leg supporting him from behind.
"Well! That means we gonna have to do this the hard way." The guy in the middle, replied, "That is by messing you up."
The guy on the black cloak smirked, "Alright, I choose the hard way."
After replying he turned towards the stairs to leave.
"Hard way it is." Everyone's on the group took the stance to beat the guy up.
However, the guy didn't even turn back, instead started climbing down the stairs.
"He is trying to leave the middle section." Suddenly the guy on the right reminded everyone of the area.
"Catch him." The one on the middle ordered, after which everyone rushed to the person on the stairs.
Everyone ran down the stairs, after the guy.
As it had only been a few seconds as they quickly reached just behind the guy. When suddenly...
Crack...
"Ahhhhh...." The guy who reached just behind the guy in the black cloak with a blue flamed hand-stretched screamed before rolling down the stairs.
In three seconds, he was down on the next floor. Which had a large parking site, for the students and teachers, for those who had classes up to four floors above this place.
"My leg." The guy cried out, grabbing his sprained ankle.
"Ahhh...." Suddenly another guy from the group screamed and rolled down next to the previous guy while grabbing on the ankle region, "My leg."
At once, three remaining from the group stopped their chase and looked at the guy walking towards the parking lot.
"Is this guy really a demon? Like everyone else says!" One of the remaining three spoke with a bit of fear in his voice.
"Che." The ferocious-looking guy still didn't give up, "I will catch him myself."
Increasing the speed, he rushed towards the black-cloaked guy.
The targeted person was just about to enter into the vacuum elevator.
Exactly three steps behind the target, even he somehow lost his balance. Before he could stabilize himself, he heard something break.
Crack...
"Ahhhhaaa...."
He tried to grab his strangely sprained ankle, which further added stress on his other leg.
Crack...
The guy at once fell down flat in a very ridiculous position.
"Ahhhh...."
He started screaming on top of his voice.
The two remaining of the group stopped without any plans of moving forward, at all.
"See! He is a demon." One guy shakily spoke to others, "That's what you get for not believing others."
"If it was really so easy to take care of this guy, we would not have got the task in the first place." The guy continued.
"We were blind." Another replied, "How about rejecting the task now?"
"Not our call." He continued shaking his head, "At least we two didn't make the same mistake."
They stood silently, until the door of the elevator closed, which the guy on the black-cloaked had entered.
Finally, letting out a long breath of relief, they slowly walked downward to help others in the group.
"Umm! Neo? Are you ok?" One of the remaining two questioned the guy on the floor, who was still in a very awkward position.
"NO." He spoke in rage, "Where is he?"
"He already left."
"I still can't believe it." The guy on the floor shakily replied, before being supported by the two.
Withstanding as much pain as possible, he finally stood up in a strange manner.
"From now on, no matter how easy the job, never take those task which has 'EDEN' on the name." He spoke to the group. "Got that?"
"Got it." All four replied supporting each other.
"Call him." He continued, "Tell him we failed the task. Also to never call us, ever again."
"Alright." One of the guys beside him replied.
...
"What happened?" A lady's voice resonated.
"Another failure." The half-naked guy replied while flicking the floating screen, before turning around, "Are you sure he is from your star cluster?"
"He is." The lady covered only in a very thin bedsheet replied.
"Strange! Somehow Blue Lotus is also feeling threatened by this guy." He replied in a gloomy tone, "If the current situation escalates, the group won't hesitate to take action by themselves."
"Can't we just add another value on top of the previous bounty?" The lady questioned, "Somehow the general has also arrived on the planet. Why can't I just live my life without any drama?"
"What general?" The guy questioned back.
"He was the one looking after the military force back then on the competition." She continued, "After that, he was assigned to find that *ss. I tried everything to stop the news about the guy to reach back at home, but somehow he still found out."
"Why would you stop the news?" The guy questioned feeling odd.
"Why do you think?" She questioned back angrily.
"Don't... Don't tell me,... he knows!" The guy turned fearful.
The answer he got was a nod.
"You realize, my parents don't know about you, right?" The guy turned serious, "If they found about us, I am so dead."
"Yeah? What about my parents?" The lady questioned back, "What if my parents found about us? Don't tell me this Blue Lotus group or your parents can retaliate the entire royal family?"
"Look. The power play of those on the second-rate star cluster is vastly different compared to the fourth-rate star systems, Ok." The guy continued, "They won't hesitate to destroy an entire lower rate star system if they are forced to."
"Then what about the association?" She countered, "Will they keep quiet?"
"Phea, Association. What association?" He snorted, "When was the last time, you saw a mother-ship raining down torpedoes on a planet?"
"..."
"Oh, I know. Thirty-some years ago." He continued, "So? Why stop after that? Why not just carry on doing that? Do you know just how many high ranked pirates have suddenly emerged after that? What's association even doing right now? Have they really performed the task they were supposed to? NO"
"What are you trying to say?" the lady questioned, looking oddly at the person.
"What I Am Saying Is, the ones with the power right now, has somehow gotten over their fear, to get their hands dirty. Because the association seems to be just too busy trying to come up with a new-gen product and licenses." The guy answered to the lady on the bed, "Meaning, if our situation came to light, could cause us both a very big problem."
"But I am a princess." She tried to reason.
"Exactly, because you are a princess." The boy clarified.
"What do we do?" The princess asked, "Do you have any other ideas?"
"I had," the guy replied in a gloomy tone, "But now, somehow I feel like it's bound to fail against this Eden guy."
"Are we at least going to try?" She asked again.
The guy nodded before replying, "Let's try it."
....
Getting off the elevator, Eden started walking towards his apartment.
It's been almost been a year and a half since he got teleported to this 'Valc Star Cluster'.
Three months after the DSCMC competition, when he was traveling around the Ring Star Cluster.
The system has really proven its might when it teleported, him from the center of the Ring Cluster to Valc Star Cluster.
Also provided him with all the documents needed for him to live in this star cluster like a citizen, even though he was not a citizen.
And enraged him when it forced him to upgrade the system, which almost doubled the price of everything in the store.
Worst was that luck no longer showed attribute units, instead, it only showed him the ratio. Like low, very low, medium, high, very high, and so on.
It was really hard to understand the exact ratio required for him to choose from.
Of course, it would be stupid for him to always toggle on the ratio over high, without any reason.
For example, on the very very high ratio, a sudden occurrence of an earthquake that could cause the entire landscape to change, just so he doesn't have trouble climbing up the stairs, was too normal.
Also, now there was a cool-down period on the luck attributes, once it toggled to high or such ratio.
On the way to the apartment, as always he took a shortcut when suddenly he came across a group of thugs.
"Hey Look! another idiot." One of them pointed at Eden.
"Looks like it's your lucky day." The leader of the group grinned while walking towards him, however, he suddenly stopped.
"Wait a minute!" He suddenly stopped, and took a step behind, "It's that demon."
He suddenly screamed, following which all the lackeys started running towards the other side, alongside the leader.
"Demon." Eden could only shake his head hearing his own title.
At least it was better than, "The Ankle Crusher", or "The Destroyer" and such.
"These people really don't know, how to give others a name." Eden concluded, "do they?"
