FIRST CRIMINAL CASE
Oath-taking, where you are required to take an Oath of Office by signing your name in the Supreme Court's Roll of Attorneys. All the Justices of the Supreme Court formally acknowledge each of the newly appointed lawyers.
After the oath-taking, Juan started his law firm. It started with lawyers, then with a good office, then connections, then cases to win. His first cases are a dozen civil cases, his first criminal case is about prosecuting those wounded in the van accused of crimes against the state. They were convicted by killing thirteen policemen, and thirty individuals with witnesses and their confessions.
Cases were now filing, he needs to delegate cases to the newly hired lawyers. They had a meeting and Juan delegate cases to the twenty lawyers. They discuss the pieces of evidence and the strategies in looking and seeking pieces of evidence, the expected counter, and all the information about the cases. Juan said the first cases now are critical for the firm they will just accept cases that they know will win.
Criminal cases stem from violations of penal statutes or laws that impose penalties for their violation. The principal penal statute in the Philippines is the Revised Penal Code, which defines various conducts or activities as crimes and provides penalties for their commission. Examples of crimes are murder, theft, robbery, swindling, arson, rebellion, slander, rape, etc. There are also laws being passed by Congress from time to time, violations of which can result in criminal cases, such as laws against possessing unlicensed firearms or issuing worthless checks. These are called special criminal laws.
Civil cases, on the other hand, are caused not by conduct prohibited by law, but personal dealings which give rise to certain obligations, such as entering into a contract or performing acts which result in damages (injuries or financial loss) to another. Examples are non-payment of indebtedness or rents, failure to deliver ordered goods or delivering defective ones, rendering defective service, negligently causing injuries to another or his property, etc.

Juan thinks deeply. If they are not in Luzon then they could be in the Visayas. What if Jacky is right and this is Rojack's doing?

Juan continues to go to court to defend his clients, the first twenty lawyers of the firm made the fastest and efficient winnings. The Tera law firm's goal is to have the fastest justice as long as the pieces of evidence are available.
All the detectives are mobilized to find Tony, Martha, and Merlyn. All clues and possible leads are being tracked.

Tony whispering. "Hello, Dad? where are you?" Juan answered. "Yes, we don't know where we are, but we are fine. Hello, I heard they will kill us next week, I don't know how you can find us." Tony said. Then Juan heard someone shouted, "Who you are calling?" Juan heard Tony, being beaten then the call ended.
Juan passed the connected call for tracing. Then he traced the cell phone location. It leads to the Visayas but before it can get the exact GPS coordinates the sim was destroyed.
It is clear that they are in the Visayas. Juan stopped all operations in Luzon, he sent all detectives to all the islands of Visayas. Some in Cebu and all the cities and municipalities on the island. In Leyte, Iloilo, Negros, Bohol, and other islands.
"We are like looking for a needle in the haystack," Juan said.
