MERCY

Man who is mercilessly killing, kidnapping, hurting others without reason but money, drugs, and just a trip? These people must face Justice and must be punished.

Juan and Jacky opened the Tera Law firm office in a rented space at Raddisson Blu Cebu. Atty. Matthew presented the ten newly hired lawyers who were top twenty of the BAR examinations in different years. Juan has a small private conference room and office that is soundproof and can only be opened when Juan is in Cebu, a different audio-visual room for presentation and lawyers meeting.

They had a little launching of the firm, with food, and prayers, with a short talk with Pastor Joe Bernardo. The buffet food from the hotel is superb. Juan and Jacky are just trying to smile but in spite of this success, they are still sad with their parents still had not been rescued from their captors.

The message is about "Mercy". Grace is getting what you do not deserve. While Mercy is not getting what you do deserve.

The text verse is in Psalms 23:6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

The word "mercy" is found 276x in 261 verses in the Bible; the word "mercies" is found 44x in 44 verses, while the word "merciful" is found 40x in 36 verses but we will look at enough to cause us to praise the name of the Lord! God's Mercy Is Everlasting - Psalms 100:5  For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Titus 3:4-6: "But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;"

The message strikes the hearts to have mercy as we are all sinners.

"I feel in mixed emotions to be angry and to be merciful. Both are not wrong, because we can be angry and not sin. But to be merciful is hard when you are hurt and injustice is being done to you continuously.

Jacky applied to Cebu Doctors Hospital as an on-call surgeon and has rented a check-up clinic inside the Ayala Center Cebu.

Robert called. He sends the data and all information in the encrypted line. "What is this?" Juan asked.

He opened the file and He had seen Rojack and with his fifteen bodyguards getting out of the hospital with a patient.

"Did we identify the patient? What hospital was this?" Juan asked.

"It is in the Cebu Doctors Hospital," Robert said.

Juan called Jacky and she went to the hospital, and she finds out that Tony was hospitalized for High blood pressure. She finds out the contact data pictured it and sends it to Juan.

The date of the hospitalization was just two days. Juan then ordered to focus review of all CCTV footage near the hospital, we must find the car used and get all the faces of all the bodyguards and all that seems to be involved with the kidnappers. Jacky discreetly talked to the doctor who checked Tony and found out that he is already fine, no bruises, no sign of physical abuse. She cried after learning. "Where is Mom Martha?" Jacky asked.

After the faces of all who were with Rojack were tagged in the system the application showed the identity in many areas in Cebu. They did a profile analysis, find the car plate numbers owner with the Land Transportation Office, then they traced them to be in a warehouse.

A rescue operation was planned with the Police Special Action Force, The Elite guards as a force multiplier and they had a simulation practice, Juan will be in the aerial support.

They are waiting for the go signal from the Police Headquarters.

Jacky called Katsuo, Ruthie, and Ely about the plan and they prayed.

"Do you want them all dead sir?" The SAF commander asked.

"No, They have taken care of my father by risking to bring him to the hospital, I will have mercy upon them. Don't kill them except if your lives are at stake, capture them so we could bring them to justice," Juan said.

Before the operation, most of the detectives were already saturating the area with covers as a garbage collector, balot vendor, street food vendor, and electricity employee.

"Eagle1, This is the overlord, you have a green light! over!"

The operation started. Juan had already set up with the SAF a closed van with the monitors of the operation, General Sandag was in Command of the SAF and all allied forces. Juan went to the helicopter and went to the Cebu Doctors Hospital and take Jacky with him.

The kidnappers were surprised and the gunfight started at about six-thirty, the SAF used night vision, all who are outside the warehouse with guns were dead by the snipers. Inside the warehouse, the elite guards identified Tony, and rescued him but Martha was not there. Tony said she was in a different warehouse. Tony was airlifted to safety and the kidnappers were asked to surrender. No one surrendered, only four wounded were capture out of the fifty fighters. Eight were wounded of the SAF, Six died, two SAF, and four elite guards.

Tony was so happy to see Jacky and Juan. Jacky checked him and he is fine. But they are all sad because Martha was not there.

"Where is Mom?" Juan asked.

Tony said Martha and Merlyn were in a different warehouse.

Alex Rollo arrived and they had a sad meeting. They honored the heroes. and Juan gave aside from what the government gave he gave One hundred thousand for each family of the SAF and the elite guards. Each elite guard who died received one million pesos from their insurance with the agency.

"Robert let's find the second warehouse fast, I'm afraid if they will kill Mom and Merlyn if they know what happened," Juan said.
