You Thought it Wrong

A bright light obstructed her peaceful sleep and she stirred as her eyelids fluttered open. The sunlight that was filtered as it shone through the curtains illuminated her surroundings and for a moment she was confused as to why she was currently on a bed.

The room was girlish, with its light pink walls and a pink cabinet that stood tall, hovering around 9 feet tall. A vanity table was slumped back on the wall and a pink vanity seat was tucked under it. There was a desk beside the bed with a vase, lamp, and books on top of it

'Oh right, I accidentally slept on the car after our wedding-"

She glanced down at her body and noticed the wedding dress was now replaced with a comfortable pajama.

But I was not the one who changed my clothes? I was clearly wearing a wedding dress before I slept….

What if Lucas had...while she was sleeping soundly…?!

"Kyaaaaah!?"

The door suddenly swung open and Lucas with a bewildered expression on his face barged inside the room.

"Wife, what happened!? What's wrong!?"

Lucas was suddenly greeted with a flying pillow and Beatrice continued to throw all kinds of things her hands were able to grasp.

"Don't 'Wife, what happened' me! you lying conniving jerk! You fucker! You monster from hell!"

A plastic vase was dashing towards him and he was lucky he was agile and he avoided it quickly as it clashed on the wall.

"Beatrice! Calm down!"

"No, I won't calm down! You fucker!!"

Lucas advanced further towards her but she grabbed a book and hurled it towards him.

"Wife! Stop!"

"Don't call me wife! You perverted rapist!" Lucas looked at his hysterical wife and understood what was happening. A light chuckle escaped from his mouth when he knew his wife got the wrong idea.

"Why are you suddenly laughing!? You creep!" Beatrice was just up from sleeping and her hair was a mess, countless strands were perked up and sticking everywhere and it reminded him of a bird's nest.

"You're misunderstanding things" Lucas gently uttered trying to calm her down but Beatrice was like a cornered tiger and his words just slipped past her ears.

"You liar! I knew it, from the very start you're an absolute fucktard!" Lucas sighed hearing foul words coming out from his wife's mouth and to make matters worse, it was all dedicated to him.

"Martha was the one who changed your clothes and I never saw anything nor touched you the entire time excluding the time, I brought you here in this room." Beatrice paused for a moment and thought deeply. She lowered her guard hearing what Lucas said.

What he said could be right….but

"I don't believe you! And I'm not sure if Martha is a real person or just a made-up name"

She was still doubting him since after all she never knew what type of person Lucas was, and after what he just acted and showed her yesterday, she was not yet sure if he was a decent or a nasty man.

He even kissed her out of the blue yesterday even though they only met two times? Two fricking times?

"Martha is my house cleaner and I specially called her yesterday just to change your clothes since it looked uncomfortable and if ever I did anything to you which by the way I didn't, you wouldn't be walking right now and you'll be sore all over"

Beatrice felt her cheeks heat up when everything he said sank in. She checked her body for any pain but there was no discomfort troubling her, instead, she felt more refreshed and energized from the long sleep.

Then and there, she wanted the ground to eat her up whole. The embarrassment flooded her up inside and all she wanted to do was plunge herself on the bottom of a pitfall and scream her lungs out.

"Wife, I don't take advantage of a sleeping woman, and besides we could always do 'it' properly in a better time and consciously. We were just married yesterday so there's no need to hurry"

Her face was now a deep red tomato and it looked like all her blood went up to her face just hearing what he said.

Beatrice was kinda ignorant and innocent in the sexual field, she may be rebellious but she had morals and she valued her chastity. That's why she was violent towards Lucas whom she thought had popped her cherry and stole her virginity.

"Stupid! Who said I'm going to sleep with you?! I will never in a hundred years choose you to be my first even if we're the only ones left in the world."

She looked away to somehow hide her blushing face but she suddenly heard a snicker and she abruptly turned to see Lucas smiling and his eyes were full of enjoyment.

Is he seriously enjoying this situation?

Beatrice grabbed a nearby pillow and started hitting him with it. The pillow would bounce as soon as it made contact with Lucas's body and Lucas was quite enjoying his time teasing his wife. Her reactions were quite a sight to see, and he just had the urge to annoy the hell out of her.

"Well, you're my wife, so sooner or later, we will do the deed so why are you being embarrassed now? It's quite a sight to see 'The Mad Woman' getting shy"

"Aargh! Shut up!" She continued to hit him harder with the pillow while Lucas was laughing his ass off.

She thought the nickname 'The Mad Woman' was buried deep to the underground and it had been a long time since it was brought up to her again. But one thing was for sure, it was never a pleasant thing to hear in the past and even today.

Lucas's laughter rang throughout the room and it was driving her nuts. She wished he would choke up on his own and that would be a sight to see more.

"Ok..ok. Sorry I won't annoy you anymore just stop hitting me with that pillow." Beatrice gave one last huge hit and stopped as her arms were aching from all the hitting. Her fingers were also hurting from grasping the pillow tightly and hovering it around.

She glanced up at him after gaining her composure but she found out he was also staring back at her with a slight glint in his eyes. She abruptly avoided his gaze as she felt a weird feeling brewing up inside her, it was both uncomfortable and pleasant and it was making her conscious.

She averted her gaze back at the plastic vase she threw a while ago and noticed there was a huge dent on the side where it had collided with the wall.

"I'm sorry for earlier...but it was not entirely my fault, you could have woken me up last night to avoid confusion" she spoke without meeting his eyes since she was still embarrassed with the conclusion she came up with.

"You looked so peaceful while sleeping that I couldn't bring myself to wake you up. Your drool was even all over the place when I brought you here" her eyes widened and her cheeks turned to a red color again as Lucas was laughing like there's no tomorrow.

She brought her fist up to him indicating she was ready to give him a smack.

"Joke..joke. That was just a joke sorry"

Beatrice wanted to duct tape that mouth of his for being so annoying and a pain in the ass.

But she might not have noticed it but she was quite enjoying it even if it was just a small percentage.

Lucas was the first person whom she talked so casually, being born to a wealthy family, and having her parents almost out for work made it hard for her to connect with others. She grew up to be rebellious and because of that she was highly rumored and people would rather avoid her. She never got acquainted with anyone much less bantered with anyone for the sole reason that they're afraid of her because of the rumors which were often exaggerated.

But Lucas was somehow different.
