The rise and fall of Marlena Brown part 1

(< Ladies and gentlemen, the captain has turned on the fasten seat belt sign. We are now crossing a zone of turbulence. Please return to your seats and keep your seat belts fastened. Thank you.>)

The moment the flying attendant had finished her announcement, Marlena smirk with unmown satisfaction. Not for what was announced, but for the amusing and never-ending thoughts that linger in that twisted mind of hers thereafter.

"What a peculiar feeling this little turbulence gives me, almost as exciting as having fresh blood soaking my hands, hmm, maybe because they both remind me of a few people's imminent deaths.

Yours especially, what a big miscalculation of my part that was.

Alex..an..der....

You sure were a troublesome little boy, weren't you? Yes, quite the troublesome little rascal indeed. To this day, you will forever be my life's biggest regret.

Although, knowing you suffered in your last moments endlessly gives me a little peace of mind.

Yes, as the plane trembles in mid-air uncontrollably, it forces Marlena's mind to recalls the pain she had infected on poor little Alexander once upon a time.

However, as she recalls the events that followed the youth's death, her smile quickly transforms into a hateful frown, and black lines appear on her forehand.

To an almost frightening degree, Alexander had been quite gullible, yes.

Anita's boy had been extremely easy to get rid of.

If Marlena had to count all the times, she could have easily disposed of him. Well let's just put these unanswered questions to rest; after all, Alexander was long dead by this point.

The youth in question died exceptionally young too young, all because of a stubborn"little grudge held towards her. if he hadn't been so consistent he would have lived a bit longer. Marlena wasn't above killing children, not in the least. If it served her purpose, she wouldn't hesitate to dispose of anyone.

Still, the boy had only been 17 years old when she sent a crazy psychopath after him. His death, in a word, had been "gruesome.

Nevertheless, Alexander will forever be a significant figure in Marlena's life, someone she would not soon forget.

Yes, this gullible and otherwise killable little weirdo ended up being the beginning to her end.

Because just like Mery Stuart, queen of scots, he too, ended up laughing at the end, winning the war, and kipping his promise of revenge years after his untimely death.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Many years before.

The Brown family mansion was in mourning. The prestigious, powerful businessman and otherwise proud Brown Petroleum and Chemical Cord owner had succumbed to his fatal injuries. Obtained a week prior, in what can only be known as an "unfortunate accident", caused by tragically falling off his favorite horse, Sirknight, while at his second honeymoon.

Marlena walks inside her late husband's office wearing a long black dress accompanied by a pair of constable heels. Her long dark hair is tight up into a perfect bun.

Black lines were present beneath her penetrating green eyes as if she hadn't slept in days.

A person ignorant of her true nature would easily be fooled by this strong mask of hers and simply think of this beautiful twenty-seven-year-old woman as nothing but a broken-hearted young widow.

Marlena closes the door behind her and walks all the way toward the old fashion wooden desk at the end of the room. She then makes a mental note to get rid of it and buy a modern one.

Walking around the antic, she then proceeds to sit down and crosse her legs how she had always dreamed of, on what not too long ago used to be Alexander's favorite chair, now hers.

As the woman breathes in her newfound power, someone knocks on the door.

"You may come in, she says with a firm tone.

An older man dressed in what can only be called nerds clothes, with a matching pair of glasses to boot, enters the room.

He didn't possess much hair, but what little he had was nicely combed backward. It made him look less nerdy and more elegant.

"Good afternoon Mrs. Brown. My name is Edgard Beauchamp, I'm your late husband's lawyer. May I take a seat down?

Marlena smiles and offers the man the seat closest to her.

"Indeed, Mr. Beauchamp, I had been expecting your visit. The other guest member will be arriving shortly.

The man gives her a faint smile, takes his seat, and waits for the rest of the attending parties to arrive.

Marlena nods her head in approval while thinking of all the annoying little pests she'll have to entertain this lovely afternoon. And of course, that includes the old hag herself, Fiona Brown, Alexander's nightmare of an ex-wife.

Yes, she was expecting this little family gathering to be quite the spectacle; no for a second did Marlena believe for this afternoon meeting to end up in a peaceful manner.

However, the security of her newfound statice enables her to overcame whatever obstacle life decides to kip on, throwing her way.

That being said, she was pretty interested in what their faces would be like when they all realize how little dear old Alexander had left them.

All thought she didn't see the complete testament; Marlena had seen enough to know how screwed they all were, and boy were they screwed.

Once again, she smiles with satisfaction knowing she had made it this far after all the years she had been forced to sell her body, mind, and soul for nothing but scraps.

Finally, there is a knock on the door once again. After she invites them all to come inside, three figures enter the office.

The first to enter is a well dress, nice-looking lady in her mid-forties. She, too, wears all black with her white hair nicely comb to the side, a pearl necklace adorns her small nick, and a small dominating smile shows on her face.

"This must be Alexa Brown, Alexander's Younger sister.

"OH, look at her expression. She must be thinking something in the lines of "This people are all beneath me", how amusing, yes very amusing indeed.

Next came in a tall, handsome man with blue eyes and dirty blond hair. He wears a black shirt accompanied by a matching pair of black Italian shoes, a dark blue tie, and black pants. He seems to be in his late twenties.

"This was most definitely Henry, Alexander's firstborn son.

Although I have never met him before,

I know it must be him. Indeed the man is the spitting image of his father.

People often comment on what a total ass he can be. They even went as far as to start calling him the second coming of Tony stark.

She mentally smirks at the amusing thought.

Right after the very attractive young man, or as Marlena likes to call him now doucheyTony gets out of the way; An overly annoyed-looking forty-something-year-old woman, wearing a black dress similar to that of Marlena's but with a slight tone of modesty but less expensive decore, enters the room.

She looks at everyone except douchey Tony with absolute contempt.

And here is the bitch, God she looks worst in person. I can understand as to why the bastard couldn't kip it in his pants.

Seeing as they were all inside, Marlena stands up and offers them a seat. She then proceeds to say, with a fake smile that somehow seems to fool everyone present, but mother and son.

"Welcome, all to my home. I hope it wasn't difficult to find the address. Marlena was having a blast messing with this bunch of stuck-up little rabbits.

Fiona's face said it all, after hearing that single sentence. [Your house! "bitch, This was my house for years before you seduced my husband and crawled your way into his wallet.]

Marlena could easily tell what The woman was thinking and this made her day all the much better.

'Let me introduce you to Mr. Edgard Beauchamp.

He was my late husband's lawyer, and today he will be reading Alexander's last will.

Mr. Beauchamp every one is present, you may commence the reading.

The man in question gives her a sad smile as he replies.

I beg your pardon, Mrs. Brown. I was instructed only to reveal the content in this document when all parties involved were to be in attending.

It is to my understanding that Mr. Alexander Basques has yet to arrive. The late Mr. Brown made it quite clear; he was to be present for this reading.

After the man finished speaking, He felt quite bad for the widow before him; She had lost her husband and now thanks to The boy in question, she was also going to lose her way of life altogether and this innocent woman hadn't the slightest idea.

If Marlena was surprised by Mr. Beauchamp's unexpected words, she did not show it in the slightest. Her posture was firm and her gentle smile hadn't once faltered from her stunning visage once.

Her response confused all the people in the room.

I see, very well. If it was my husband's last Wich to include Anita's son in his will, I would do whatever is in my power to ensure it is done.

The poor boy recently lost his mother presently you see.

She was very dear to him in fact she was all he had. I have always feared he will follow in her footsteps and attends against his life. Nevertheless, if this can help him have a better future I am more than willing to share part of my fortune with the boy.

After all, Alexander and I were very fond of his mother.

Mr. Beauchamp swallowed hard feeling guilty as he knew the real reason for Mr. Brown's unusual request.

With an eager smile, Marlena sends a maid to fetch the orphan boy.

However, the reaction of the other guest inside the room was priceless, and the widow had to bite her tongue as not to burst into laughter.
