Within the building designated for math classrooms, Tylem stood outside the door to his next classroom, leaning on the wall with his medium-sized polo schoolbag.
The current period was still ongoing, so the students were still in their respective classes. During this tranquil time, it was rather calming for the mind.
It hadn't taken long for Tylem to find the next period's classroom, which was math class. Finding a random student, he had asked them for directions, and here he was.
Tylem used this time to recollect his thoughts.
[According to Kaden, the main instigators behind Lynne's harassment are Ava and Onel respectively. Furthermore, this society seems to have complete control over the school due to their parents?]
How troublesome. If he got Lynne expelled because of his actions, he would slap himself a million times. Maybe… he needed to covertly infiltrate into their ranks and destroy the society from within?
That way, Tylem could obtain more information and power while also familiarizing himself with the situation of Onel and Ivla. Like this, he could be sure of his family's safety before delivering the decisive move.
Or perhaps, he could amicably solve the issue upon securing his place in the Onel society, which was arguably easier. However, he was unwilling to make friends with trash who used their status to bully others.
Very soon, the bell rang, and Tylem first put these matters to the back of his mind. Until he figured out a foolproof plan, he would not carelessly charge at his enemies like a madman.
The hundreds of students began flooding the halls. Some of them had a noble appearance; however, the vast majority looked average like one would expect. When everyone was in the same uniform, it was hard to stand out.
* * *
Soon enough, Tylem's form class arrived in the math building. Right now, since there were no teachers and the students involved were gone, all of them were eagerly discussing the heated events of gym class.
"Oh my god, did you see the transfer's strength?"
"No shit, I was there. Is he even human?"
"I think I'm in love. Girls, don't compete with me for him!"
"Tylem is his name? I'll definitely remember."
Katie was walking up the steps with a starstruck expression. For girls their age, it wasn't unusual to be fascinated with a strong, mysterious boy. In this modern era, where television series and web novels were prominent, most girls would subconsciously hope for their own amazing prince charming.
It was much later in their life that these thoughts would begin changing. From wanting the best, many of the aged girls would then settle with desiring nothing more than to settle down with a happy family of their own.
Neither choice was wrong. It was their life to live. The choice was their own. Instead, it was the consequences that would follow which made the majority regret, trailed with their parents chiming in every day.
The 'what if' would haunt them for a long time.
When Katie made it up the stairs, the shadow loitering beside the math door down the main hall shocked her.
Meanwhile, when the other classmates saw Tylem standing without the slightest care in the world, all of them were in awe. Causing such a massive incident, he had gotten off scot-free? Their impression of him increased even more.
The boys walked up to him with visible excitement. In moments, Tylem was flooded with a barrage of heated questions, which ranged from how he secretly trained to his daily routine.
Tylem shook his head—about to tell them to back off.
"Guys, leave Tylem alone. Kaden, his friend, was just injured. How could he be in the mood to answer your chauvinistic questions?" Katie intervened with a commanding tone.
"You're right. That was insensible of us." The slender boy called Wren, who was one of Kaden's friends, bowed.
"We're sorry, Tylem." The rest of the boys followed Wren's actions, which made Tylem a bit surprised. For children of wealthy families, there was not much arrogance amongst them.
Lifting his brow, Tylem replied, "No need to apologize. I can answer your questions later, but not now though."
Of course, he wouldn't tell them the truth behind his power. It was one of those secrets he would likely bring to his grave. If it was exposed, a great deal of trouble would befall him. The human race was greedy, after all.
Tylem also turned his attention to the pretty girl who had spoken up for him, flashing her a grateful smile.
"Hehe." Katie returned a passionate giggle, hoping that her blush was hidden. She, as the class monitor, wielded a great duel of influence amongst the girls, which spread to the rest of the class.
In Wesley's form class, there weren't any powerful scions amongst the boys and girls. Thus, most of the students in the class were close with one another, not looking down on their fellow classmates.
To be more exact, most of them looked out for each other. During lunchtime, a lot of Ivla's wealthy heirs and heiresses would roam about.
Their main united concern was the Onel society, offending them would be too scary. Lynne was a prime example of this.
For example, the top class of Ivla's seventh grade, Ava's classroom, was comprised of powerful students who could determine their future in the school with a single word. Lynne also belonged to this classroom.
"Come in, students."
Entering the math classroom, Tylem saw that the seating arrangements were in pairs. Since he did not plan to learn, he swiftly walked to the back of the classroom. There, he would spend the hour planning Onel's downfall.
Plopping himself at the back, Tylem's foreign appearance did not go unnoticed. The middle-aged math teacher had quickly noted the new transfer student. However, the math teacher did not call him up as it could end up irritating the former; he had the mindset of completing his class free of trouble.
The last time the math teacher had been too nosey while teaching, his family had gone through a lot of injustice, suffering a lot outside of the school because of an arrogant young master who was a bigshot in the capital.
Even his six-year-old daughter was not spared. Down in Ivla's elementary school, she was harassed a lot because of this arrogant young master who was in the upper echelon of the famous Onel society.
"God damnit. Why is the Principal just bending over backward to allow these children to walk all over us, the teachers of Huaxia?" The math teacher clenched his teeth. When he had informed the Principal of his issue, it had resulted in him being humiliated and told to sort it out on his own.
Tylem saw the math teacher's visible dilemma. However, he did not care at all. Whatever the teacher's reason, he currently had his own problems to deal with. Furthermore, he was not a person who cared about strangers.
"Class, let's begin—carrying on from the last lesson…" Fortunately, the math teacher now had a break from those wealthy, arrogant scions. Wesley's form class was the peaceful time during his chaotic everyday life.
Unbeknownst to the math teacher, this calm, peaceful morning class marked the beginning of Onel's legendary collapse. The 'lazy' male transfer student sitting at the back with his head down, whether for better or worse, would end up reforming Ivla entirely. Sitting at his side, Katie timidly watched him with the corner of her eye.
