Unexpected Mission

I continued sitting down, forgetting how long i was watching news then playing.

Above me, the recognizable metal clanging. Nora exited her room, walking towards that slot to get her package.

Looking away from the tv, Nora was carrying a box to her room, one that looked filled with attachments or weapons.

"Went to get a few more attachments for my smgs, and 2 new ones for my armory." Nora explained while walking towards her room as the box's contents clamored against each other.

As fast as she went out her room, Nora disappeared back to her quarters. Probably taking out the attachments she bought, how many guns does she have that would need that much attachments?

The door opened with quick footsteps following after. Sebastian walked quickly to his room, stopping to look at me.

"Pack your weapons and gear, the strategist is urgently calling all of us." He hastily ordered.

Following the order i jumped out of the couch, quickly shutting the tv off to prepare my things. I can just bring the new Shaksha for some close to mid range fire and the Spotter 14 for long range fights.

Inside, i began dumping my armor, the Shaksha, the spotter and ap-8 for a sidearm.

A single zip, the bag closed and i was prepared. I bid farewell to my armory to await the mission outside.

In the living room, the door opened a few times with my teammates entering with the same urgent walk that Sebastian had, wasting no time in entering their quarters.

One by one, each of us stepped outside our quarters, waiting for the others to finish.

Mary was the last to step out, carrying her own duffle bag just like us.

"Alright, let's go." Sebastian guided us to the outside, headed towards the front area.

"What's the mission on about? You didn't tell us that part yet." Thalia inquired.

"Hostage we took escaped, the strategist will tell us more on it. But he said it's urgent." Sebastian answered Thalia's question, not looking back and continuing walking forward.

We got to the elevator, Sebastian, pressing the button, the door opened instantly. I stepped inside with my team.

The door opened, speedily stepping out of it, Sebastian banged on the door, to which it opened.

"Ah Sebastian, a quick response. Excellent, team gather round the table." The strategist spoke with urgency in his voice.

I swung the bag to the back of my waist, walking hurriedly.

On the table was a map of Aregalia. A red circle pinning a remote area to the west side of Aregalia. A forest, a dotted line from the forest to the city were in was drawn.

"Few miles away we were transporting the hostage to some officials to get more information in a more secure area. Something or someone shot it down. This is a covert mission, can't trust most of the mercenaries except you guys to handle it." The map now showed a layout of the forest from overhead. "Fortunately we knew where they crashed, it's around this area. The strategist zoomed out, showing a yellow circle marking everything inside it in yellow as well.
