Parabellum Academy, set 80 years after a great war and a lifetime of carnage and conflict of two alliances. Is one of the many schools that have agreed to have a program to train soldiers from the students for a possible second war. Parabellum Academy used to be a moderate school with basic equipment for training soldiers has gone through a breakthrough after a student created a virus capable on enhancing it's users, but through time another student made it greater than it ever was, all unique but on very rare occasions, give unknown advantages. Now it's one of the highest and most prestigious schools in the country with great funding and even a seat at the League of Archons. Damon Basker is one of the new members of the huntsmen, the deadly unique mercenaries of the school, The journey begins in Aregalia which was once a poor and weak nation now stronger than ever and a stronghold of the Alliance, despite the numerous hostile groups in the nation coupled with the possibility of being the staging point of the inevitable second war.

The door closed behind us, now on a new mission, it's time to finish it. 


A single trip up to the rooftop and we got to the rooftop. 


The sky was dark, in deep twilight as the city lights shine and the roof lights illuminate the area.


The transport to take us was awaiting just in front of us. Rather bigger than what we took earlier, it looked big enough for all of us to sit comfortably and stand inside. Above us, stars and the moon shone brightly, shining in their full glory unblocked by clouds. Looks very beautiful from here.


"Damon, you zoning out?" Thalia snapped me out of it. Making me focus again on why were here. For the mission.


"Quick, get on" The pilot awaited us outside the ship, running inside the ship after rushing us inside the ship.


We sat inside, there was more space from each seat providing better legroom, able to stand fully upright just a few inches below the roof, it's alot easier to move around.


The ship takes off quickly, rapidly ascending upwards, slowly propelling forward until it reached high enough.


"Alright, gear up." Sebastian ordered. We dropped our bags, unzipping to take out the gear, standing up to start wearing it.


I strapped the vest, armor paddings, belt, along with other parts of the armor.


I finished strapping the gear on me, leaving the helmet off for now until we arrive.


Sitting back down, i look to the window. Seeing the city slowly transition from urban sprawling cities to farmlands as we travel farther from the city. Lights from the street and the farm houses & barns brightened their areas in large glows.


"Were nearing the area, remember. Time is of the essence, find him and bring him back." Sebastian reminded us. I pulled the bolt back on my Shaksha, prepared to do the mission with my Spotter rested on my back.


The ship slowly stopped to a halt, as it slowly descended we saw it, the forest. Eerily dark compared to the rural & urban parts.


The transport landed on the dirt ground below. The doors both opened automatically and we jumped out. It was dark, no sign of a nearby base, nor path. I donned on the gas mask, showing things such as gas levels and temperature on the sides. Racking down the night vision goggles, i can see the trees in bright fluorescent green. Seeing my teammates as well behind me with it.


Donning their night vision as well, it was time to begin the hunt. To get that hostage back.
