Katie had no idea that a kiss with a man could make her like this. And she did not expect that a man's hand was so big and wide and...

Katie covered her face, which she believed must be red to prevent her friends from teasing her anymore.

"Yeah, that's great," exclaimed Hillary in a slothful tone. "I heard you're leaving tomorrow? Isn't that right, Kitty?" Unfortunately, Hillary had asked before her two high school friends teased her, further dampening the cheerful mood.

The happy smile that was still on Katie's face turned into a sad one.

"You're right. But..." Katie scratched the nape of her neck, which didn't itch. "Should I stay? I think I really like him."

Her friends seemed excited to hear that. They genuinely wished the best for Katie. All of them but one. Hillary frowned and dislike at the changing decision of her.

As for Katie, she didn't care about her curse anymore. She just wanted to spend the rest of her short life with the people she loved.
