Shawn was jostled from his thoughts when he heard screeching and squealing, directing his vision towards the source he saw two girls about his age pointing at him and giggling like schoolgirls before they approached him shyly.

"Hello! My name is Asheni and this is Morni."

.

"We are new to this area, my dad and her uncle came here for a business deal. Maybe you could show us around."

.

"Are there any good places around here to eat, we could repay you with lunch and coffee?"

Shawn had seen their expressions and with one glance he knew they were fangirls the worst kind of females according to him. The blushes on their faces showed that they had no interest in anything other than associating with him.

Getting up and without sparing them another glance he vacated the area without turning back, knowing if he stayed there then his patience would run thin, and he might subject them to his glare causing them to have nightmares for years to come. It was not like he didn't help people, but he mostly helped guys face on and ladies who actually needed help anonymously.

He knew that helping a woman in dire need would cause her to develop feelings for her savior be it deep gratitude or fated love for their knight in shining armour, but he had no desire for that and wished that other man in the world knew that too. It would just cause problems for the woman they would be serious about in the future.

He had no desire to subject Julian to such things. He immediately stopped thinking back did he consider her his future partner, then a small smile appeared on his face when he realized that unconsciously his mind and heart had both recognized Julian has their life partner, and he agreed he only considers girls he is serious about. And so far in his 22 years of life, no one caught his eye.

Standing under the tree and far away from those evil creatures, he once again searched the park for Julian and caught her just entering the park. Raising his hand to direct her and was surprised when instead of spreading her gaze searchingly, she directly caught him amidst all the people in the park and headed towards him.

Greeting each other warmly they started their exercise routine after Julian put down her bag, Shawn had already shed off his coat previously. After a while they were sitting on the stone pavement, drinking water and relaxing.

Julian had noticed a few odd things and turned to question the male beside her.

"Shawn, Why are we so far from our original spot?"

She was surprised when Shawn's feature morphed into terror and the color drained from it, concerned she waved her hand in front of his face while softly calling his name. She was glad to notice his face has returned to normal.

Shawn knew that she might ask him about it and sitting on the stone pavement when there were so many benches, would cause anyone to question him but remembering those repulsive kinds of woman did cause him terror mixed with anger. Turning to her, he uttered a single word,

"Fangirls."

A shudder ran through his body when he said that word. Looking towards Julian he was glad that she wasn't laughing at his expense, her eyes showed understanding and some amusement.

Julian was not expecting this answer but agreed with him, fangirls were the worst kind of females.

"Julian, It's your fault you asked me to come earlier, and I was subjected to such a horror. How are you going to make up to me?"

Julian looked him in the eye, knowing that he wasn't serious. She looked around seeing that no one was paying attention to them, so she leaned in and gave a quick peck on his cheek before quickly moving back and blushing.

"So did I make up to you?"

Shawn was shocked because physical contact between them was limited, but he nodded at her when he saw the blushing cheeks and embarrassment in her eyes. He laughed internally knowing that the girl before him was shy.
