Julian POV
Julian woke up to the sound of her alarm blaring in her room. Shutting the alarm off, she got up and went to the lavatory to take a bath and freshen up. She came out walking a bathrobe and bunny slippers while her hair was covered with a towel. Making her bed and putting on moisturiser with sunblock, she headed downstairs to the kitchen.
Her lovely grandmother was still sleeping so she set began making breakfast for both of them while enjoying the morning breeze coming from the open kitchen window.
While waiting for the breakfast to be done she set out to clean the kitchen and the workspace. Finished with that, she plated the breakfast and was starting to put it on the table. Just when she put the last plate on the table she heard her grandmother coming towards the kitchen.
"Good morning! Juli!"
.
"When did you wake up?"
.
"The breakfast smells lovely."
Smiling at her grandmother and taking her seat at the table she replied;
"Good morning! Grandma!"
.
"I woke up two hours ago."
.
"I was excited about the convocation."
The breakfast was done. Julian and her grandmother headed to her room. Julian took out the towel from her hair and started blow-drying. Taking the dress her grandmother just handed she headed to the bathroom to change. Coming out she sat at her vanity and grabbed few accessories before securing her hair with a beautiful blue and white bling clip in a half updo.
Her grandmother than started working on the makeup. Since Julian didn't use a lot of makeup her grandmother didn't but a lot. She had a soft brown liner with a white eye shadow and soft pink matte lipstick. Her makeup was finished by putting two blue crystals under her left eye. Thanking her grandmother she went to grab her shoes while her grandma went to get ready.
She was waiting at the porch after putting on her shoes. She sprayed on a little bit of perfume and was now waiting for her grandma with a second dress and a graduation dress in one hand and a small handbag in the other hand.
Seeing that her grandma coming down the stairs. She went out and put the dress on the backseat of the car before heading back to check on her grandma.
Her grandma on the other hand started clicking pics as soon as she got in. Laughing to herself, she joined her grandma getting a few pics together before they got in the car and started heading towards Shawn's University.
Since they got early there was no crowd and they good parking spot. Getting in alongside her grandmother, they found their seats and watched as the auditorium started filling.
Julian watched as Shawn came in with his family, searching for her but couldn't find her and was ushered towards his classmates. She laughed as she saw him sulking with his classmates. She had to admit that he looked good in his graduation cap. She liked the way he did his hair today and wondered if he will like that she died her hair gold for this occasion.
She always wanted to dye her hair a different colour but knowing the risks she decided to do it rarely on special occasions. That's why when she went with her grandma to get the dresses she had asked for hair to be dyed golden.
This was the first time she did it and she was loving it. She then wondered what Shawn thought of her theme. His University had chosen a casual while her college had chosen a formal theme for the party.
Seeing his family today she found them to be loving and caring. The little brother Axel was the cutest and the most adorable thing she has ever seen; with his big black eyes wandering around the room and his black hair standing on the back. He had a great hairstyle and she wondered if their mother or father did both of their hair's, knowing Shawn doesn't know any other hairstyle then his usual one.
She directed her attention to the stage as soon as the ceremony started.
