Shawn POV
Shawn was sleeping peacefully in his bed when he was woken up by a deep pain in his abdomen, someone has just jumped on him. Rubbing his eyes to erase the sleep he saw the culprit with black hair laying on his stomach and laughing to himself.
"Good Morning to you too! Little Brother!"
He reached forward and poked his little brother on the forehead. Gazing at the wall clock he sighed, he was supposed to sleep in late that's why he didn't set his alarm but his brother just had to go and ruin that, why can't his brother wake him up like a normal person. Frowning to himself he told Axel;
"Little Brother! Why can't you wait till later, we still have 4 hours?"
.
"Why can't you wake me up like a normal person? What's with the jumping stunts?"
Axel who was laughing at the funny faces his brother was making pouted saying,
"But Mummy was making breakfast, and she told me to come and get you. Daddy and I agreed because four hours are not enough time to get ready."
With that, he got up left the room. Shawn took a sigh of relief and was about to go back to sleep when he heard a knock on his door. Getting tired from all the disturbance, he finally gave in and accepted that he won't be getting any more sleep. He answered with a drowsy voice;
"Come in!"
And in came his little brother. Axel walked up to him and started to shake him while saying wake up my little cub.
Shawn was confused at his little brother's actions and asked,
"What are you doing Axel? I am awake."
.
"Why are you copying mom?"
Axel gave him a look saying how can you not know what I am doing.
"Brother! Are you slow in the morning? Did leaving home ruin your intelligence?
I am doing what you asked me to do; wake you up like a normal person."
.
"Daddy's a grump, You are an old man in a young body, Noir is a man-child, Grandpa and Grandma are pranksters, Mom is the only normal one in this family. So I copied her to wake you up.
Now get up, I won't say it a second time."
With that little Axel tried to give him a stern look and ran off on his little feet while Shawn sat there amused at his little brother's explanation, he wondered what his families reaction would be if they heard what Axel thought about them.
Getting up making his bed he headed to the bathroom for his morning routine and then headed to the kitchen to eat his mother's cooking. He really loved his mother's cooking.
Greeting his parents good morning and giving his mother a hug he sat at the table enjoying his breakfast with the rest. As soon as he was done he was grabbed and pushed by his father and brother to his room. He heard what they said to his mother and was starting to feel scared.
"Marian! We will take him to get ready."
.
"Mom! Leave it on me. I will get him ready on time."
Shawn was starting to feel overwhelmed when he heard the door close behind him and his brother started listing off the things they need to do;
"Okay listen this is what we need to do.
Dad grab both the dresses and see if they need ironing. Brother, you get the comb and l will get the straightener we need to work on that hair."
When Axel saw that they both were standing there like statues, he huffed and said,
"Move it! People! We are on a tight schedule here."
With that, his Dad rushed to his closet to grab the dress while he went to get his comb and his little brother whipped a hair straightener from who knows where and pushed him to the couch and started working on his hair.
Shawn felt like a girl being pampered but he let his little brother and his father do the pampering. Curious he asked his little brother;
"Little Brother! Why do you have a straightener? Where did you get it from?"
Axel answered without breaking his concentration from his work.
"Do you think this awesome hairstyle of mine comes naturally, obviously not. I have to work for it. And I got it from the Mall, why do you want one? You certainly need one."
Once done with his hair Shawn changed into his first dress and pulled the graduation cloak over it. He then heard his mother coming in, taking pictures and patting him over the head while her eyes shined with pride and affection. His Dad on the other hand was standing in the corner patting his eyes with his pocket hankey and sniffling, a complete opposite of his mother.
He smiled at them and then pushed them out telling them to get ready and leave him in peace for a few minutes. Laughing softly his mother dragged his sniffling father and pouting little brother out while he shut the door behind them.
Sitting on his couch and taking a deep breath he took out his phone, texting Julian.
*Just got pampered by family. Dressed and waiting. Hope to see you soon. Can't wait.*
He then hit send and was now waiting for the reply. He started imagining how Julian will look tonight but it was disturbed by a ding from his phone. Grabbing his phone, he swiped the screen and saw the reply, making him smile.
*Ready and waiting. Will see you soon.*
Putting his phone away. He grabbed his graduation cap and the second dress before heading to the car. His parents were already in the car and his brother was waiting for him on the porch.
"Brother! Hurry up! We are going to be late."
Getting in the back seat with his brother and putting the second dress on the spare seat before sitting comfortably and watching the passing scenery.
His University wasn't far so they reached within a few minutes. He entered with his family from the student entrance. There were two entrances; one for the university students and their families and the second one for locals and other university students.
As he entered the auditorium, his eyes went around the room searching for Julian but he couldn't find her because he was ushered by the teacher to join the other students and his family were ushered to their seats.
Sitting with his classmates, he was a bit disappointed that he couldn't find her.
