Shawn POV

Shawn gave a smile seeing Julian leaving. He was looking forward to the convocation and the party that followed the convocation ceremony. He was interested in finding one other thing that they both had agreed to keep has a surprise till the convocation.

Getting up he dusted off the imaginary dust, smoothed his dress before grabbing his coat and heading for home.

On the way home, he was enjoying the hustle and bustle in the street, everyone seemed to be excited about the convocations that are going to happen this week.

This area had 5 Colleges slash Universities, 3 High Schools and 2 Primary Schools and all of them are having their convocation this week. Every year it was a repeat of this the local people and students and their families would get excited, it was named convocation week. The quiet streets become busy with the preparations.

He was making a list of all the preparations he needed to do, starting with getting clothes. He fastened his pace to reach home quickly and grab some extra cash before going home.

He had already informed his parents about the timings of the convocation and was expecting his family to arrive tomorrow at the exact time.

Looking forward he saw that he had reached his house. Opening the door he put his shoes aside and wore the home slippers before going to his room to get the extra money but instead he got a surprise of a lifetime when he heard soft snoring from the room, standing at the end of his king-sized bed he saw three lumps under the comforters.

Smiling to himself, he withdrew his phone from his top pocket and quickly snapped a photo before spreading his gaze around the room searching for a good spot. Once he found it he put his phone there on the recording mode. Reaching for the largest lump, he shook it gently and was rewarded with a head coming out of the comforters rubbing his eye before extending his arm and touching the other lump with his other hand he was rubbing his eye,

"Marian! Wake up! We must have accidentally slept. Give me a comb, my hair is a mess. What would my son think? What's the time?"

The second lump pushed back the covers and sat up gracefully, giving her husband a teasing glare while trying to wake her youngest son.

"My Dear Husband! Are you worried about ruining your hard, stiff, complicated image in front of your son. I think he will like this much better."

She was rewarded with a pout from her husband in return which she laughed off. The youngest has chosen this moment to wake up.

Kicking the comforter off. He yawned raising his arms in the air and stretching, it reminded Shawn of a cat or a kitten. Rubbing his eyes he addressed his mom.

"Good Morning! Mom quick get me a comb my hair is a mess, how can I appear in front of my brother like this."

Marian stifled a laugh that was about to burst, her son was so much like her husband. Quickly grabbing the comb from her purse sitting on the bedside cabinet, she handed it to her son and her husband. She was used to keeping a few combs in her bag for her boys. She got three boys all of whom care more about their hair compared to a girl. Her attention was drawn from her thoughts when she saw her youngest son pouting and looking at her before returning back to combing his hair.

"Mom! This is so not fair." He huffed and puffed folding his arms and puffing his cheeks.

"What's not fair son?" Asked Marian in concern. Now both parents were looking at their youngest son in confusion and concern.

Turning towards his dad he spoke, "Dad! How come mom have such an appearance after sleeping while we look like rug rats? How is her hair not messed up? How come she still look like a princess?"

Marian squealed hugging her son when she noticed her husband questioning gaze. Withdrawing from the hug, she asked,

" You want to know how I do it?"

She was rewarded with her husband and son sitting straight and directing their attention to her. She leaned forward and said,

"It's a secret."

Both Axel and Rowan were disappointed and glared at her for increasing their anticipation and then finding amusement in their expressions.

They had yet to notice Shawn in the corner of the room now putting his phone away. He coughed to get their attention. His family is special and he enjoyed moments like these. Though today he made a new discovery, he always thought that his dad was the one to get up with perfect appearance and mom the one to take time to get it right but now he knew.

"Mom! You look lovely as always."

.

"Dad! That was a major surprise."

.

"Little brother you look adorable anyways!"

His family finally got their bearings together and moved in for a hug. Shawn was then pulled by his father and brother to the drawing-room. On the way he found out how they all ended up sleeping in his bed; they got tired waiting for him and Axel went to his bed saying it was the comfiest and all of them sat there waiting and fell asleep.

Reaching the drawing-room he saw that they got him the clothes for his convocation and were now waiting for his reaction.

He grabbed the clothes and went on to try. He liked the design, the color and the material. He came out showing them, it was a perfect fit, his family knew him well. He smiled at them and thanked them for preparing this in advance. The clothes will go with the theme.

Now there was one major problem the second dress. He told them a little white lie of needing one more dress because he was going to accompany his friend to their convocation.

His brother and father didn't suspect a thing but looking at his mother he saw her suspicious look.

Heading to the mall together they selected the other set of clothes before going to watch a movie and heading home.

Shawn asked his parents how they made time with important meetings coming up in the company and was feeling thankful when his parents told him that they pushed the meeting a little forward to join him in his important moment.

That night when he went to bed he thanked the superior being for giving him such a family.
