The Ultimate Mission

" Well I'm actually enjoying my freedom while it last because in no time a mission is bound to pop out of nowhere " Sushana stated as she sipped on her champagne and nodded. I could not agree to anything else in my life because we could never truly relax when it came to the request of the Phantom seven organization.


"So true, the past week of freedom has been great" I remarked and when she became silent suddenly my eyes followed hers. I kept silent and continued to stare.


She was staring at Rox and Tom who in the distance were having a discussion. I turned back to Sushana with a small smirk, she is only making this easy for me. My assumptions had concrete evidence just by the way she was staring at Roxwell.


"Is there something I don't know? " I teased and her eye widened before she looked my way. She should learn to mask her emotions better, this organization requires such a skill.


"Huh? " she asked dumbfounded and my smirk only grew widener. Acting innocent won't work now honey.


"You and Rox. Is there something going on? " I asked and she covered my mouth with a huge 'shhhhh!' and I arched a brow.


 I wasn't even speaking loudly, the many examples of paranoia. 


"What makes you ask such a thing? " she whispered.


"I see the glances you guys exchange. So is there something? " I asked and she blushed.


"We had been crushing for a while now.  However he officially told me how he felt towards me last night" she confessed.


"I knew it! I flipping knew it! " I yelled and she covered my mouth.


"That doesn't mean the whole world has to know it too" she whisper yelled. Oops... I really did have a big mouth.


"And what about you and the captain? "she asked and I choked on my champagne.


"What? That old car? " I asked between coughs and she crossed her arms.


"Don't what me. You are the only solder he calls by their first name so regularly.  What's up with that? " she asked.


"Well... That is because... " and when I saw her face expression I trailed of,  sighing in defeat.


"Okay so maybe we shared a kiss but there is nothing between us.  He doesn't date" I told her.


"What a load of shit, you don't just go around kissing people. He want somethings and I think it is between your leg and in your chest. He is just scared and has his ego too far up his ass " she stated and I sighed.


"Actually I believe him, he's the commander Sush. A  fellow teammate might have taken the chance but he wouldn't. I doubt he has ever known love " I state logically.


"Actually he has. Remember the witch we ran into by the name of Dyana? Well they were actually dating when he just joined the team.  Little did he know she was the daughter of a king pin who despise this organization" she told me and my eyes widened.


"The night when the witch showed her true colours by trying to kill him was the night he gave up on love " she replied. Well who would have thought my boss once had a dirty romance.


"See,  that proves everything. He'll never let go so I'm doing what is best for my heart. Even if we did share a kiss the reality is it meant nothing. I don't need that type of negativity in my life Sush and that is a whole lot of negative" I told her simply.


Later that day however I was in my room when I received a visit form Dienta, my personal messenger from Geotophia. Somehow my chest burned because this could not be good.


"Greetings your highness " she stated politely as she made a bow.


"Greetings.  What news do you bring?" I asked .


"Your mother misses you deeply princess and longs for your return.  Also when you do you will marry prince Oscar of Nivenda?" she informed me.  I then sighed.


"Very well. As it regards to the prince I will update you on that aspect. You are dismissed " and with that she vanished and I sat on the floor.  An arranged marriage?


How was I supposed to find love in that?
