Decision to make

"Whats her favorite flower?"

"Kai-"

"Shush, I'm not talking to you." Kai shushed her.

Leira just scrunched her face and went back to playing her phone. They were hanging out on a rooftop cafe that the couple always hang out at during their study days.

It's been two days since the dramatic glitch in their life. Seunwo had been enjoying his temporary leave spending time with Leira as she too had some time to use since she finished her last paper.

"She doesn't like flowers."

"And do you know why?"

"Because of people like you." Seunwo said flatly making Leira laughed. He stroked her hair gently as she was laying on his lap.

"But she likes me though." Kai said smirking. Seunwo hummed at that.

"Yeah she does."

"You guys are weird." Leira snorted.

"Of course. It's your type."

Leira chuckled at Kai remarks and just continue playing games on her phone.

"When is your shift?" Seunwo asked.

"Unfortunately for you, its night shift today."

He sighed and just leaned back to the sofa even deeper. Kai chuckled amusingly.

"You used to like my company, smiley face."

"Yeah but then you made a move on Leira. My girlfriend? In case you still can't get that in your head." Seunwo said pointedly. She smiled at that.

"Still not sorry for that." Kai snorted and stood up to go to the pool. Leira gave him a side eye.

"Well, I'm sorry for letting my guard down."

Leira shook her head and put down her phone, looked up to her beau. She caressed his cheek briefly.

"Are you guys still not in good terms?"

"I can't bring myself to be mad at him. He's like my-"

"Family. Right?" Leira said cutting him off.

Seunwo looked down to her on his lap who was grinning cheekily. He felt his insides squeezed watching her adorable self.

"Yeah."

Leira sat up to drink when she heard girls around them squealing. Kai was coming up from the water and she raised her eyebrows, amused.

"Dr Kim is serving the ladies." She chuckled and she felt Seunwo turning her head to him.

"Even you?" He asked jokingly.

"Nah, have you seen yourself?"

Seunwo chuckled at that as he pulled her back to his side.

"I didn't know you're this vocal about it."

"You asked, I answered." Leira shrugged and looked back in front to take her drink but he was quick to turned her head back to him.

"You can only look at mine."

Leira laughed and hugged him making him shook his head amused, letting her do whatever she wants to him. He kissed her head in return.

"I can't handle this version of you."

"Expect more, then."

"Ouch. My heart is shattering." Kai said in a playful tone as he came back drying his hair with a towel.

"As it should." Seunwo muttered.

"I heard that."

"As it should."

"This brings back memories."

"A good one or a bad one?"

"I remembered you asking me out."

Leira scrunched her nose and walked ahead of him, embarrassed. He just grinned, following her into the campus.

Students greeted them as they walked through the hallway, passing by familiar faces.

"Lei!"

"Hey."

"You're back? Wanna go catch a movie?" The male asked, not noticing the tall guy behind her.

Which is questionable because he, himself is pretty tall.

"I-"

"Hey, who's this kid?" The doctor said suavely putting his hand around her waist.

"This is Eunsang. A freshman. Eunsang, this is-"

"Han Seunwo. Her boyfriend." He said giving the kid his usual charming smile.

Leira was cringing at that inside but kept a normal face.

Eunsang just smiled at him sheepishly, realizing he had just asked her out right in front of her boyfriend.

"Oh, bro Seunwo!" Another male joined them, putting his hands around Eunsang's shoulders.

"Its been awhile, Jinhyuk."

"I see you guys are still together. Lucky." Jinhyuk grinned at her making her chuckle.

"Aight guys, I gotta go to the management office. See you in a bit, Woo." Leira said detaching his hand on her waist and went into the elevator.

"You guys know each other?" Eunsang asked as they walked to the cafe in the campus.

"Seunwo is an alumni, kid."

"Oh senior!"

Seunwo chuckled at Eunsang's adorableness. He instantly forgot about what he did earlier.

"Sorry I asked Leira out in front of you. I didn't know she has a boyfriend." Eunsang said apologetically.

"Because you're cute, I'll forgive you." Seunwo said making him grin.

"Nah, that Lara Croft didn't even tell anyone she has someone." Jinhyuk said and Seunwo just nodded along with him.

"So, how does being a doctor feels like?" Jinhyuk asked when they get to their seat with their coffee.

"Chaotic but its alright."

"Do I get a discount if I got into the hospital one day?"

"Don't get sick, Jinhyuk." Seunwo said fatherly.

"If, bro. If."

The three continue chatting and Seunwo got to know Eunsang better, finding the younger male lovable.

His phone vibrates when Leira had texted him.

"Shes done?" Eunsang asked when he looked to his phone.

"Yeah. I guess I'll see you guys when I see you." He stood up.

"Just call me whenever. We can hang out with Doyoung and the others."

"Can I join?" Eunsang asked.

"Of course you can." Seunwo nodded at him.

"Stay healthy guys."

"Oh right, hyung." Jinhyuk said stopping Seunwo at his track. He hummed in response.

"Could you remind Lei to finalize her answer in the offer letter? The embassy need to make some paper works."

"Offer letter?" Seunwo asked questioningly.

"Havard offer letter? They wanted her to join them."

The ride home was quiet as usual with the radio playing slow musics.

Leira looked to his side profile and noticed a faint frown between his eyebrows.

"Han-"

"When are you going to tell me that you're going to Brazil?"

Leira paused at that. She hadn't plan to tell him yet.

"Did Kai told you about this? I haven't made the decision to go yet."

"You talked to Kai about this and not me?" He asked making Leira winced.

"I just- want to make sure I really made up my mind before I tell you. You know how nosy Kai can be."

"Yeah, we can't really keep secrets from him but still, you can discuss this with me. I'm all ears."

"I know. I- well you know now anyways right?" Leira said sheepishly scratching her cheek.

"You want to see me?" Kai asked as he stepped into his father's office. The elder just waved him over to seat.

"How is your wife finding entourage going? Any luck with the girl you're courting?"

"She has a boyfriend." Kai replied shortly. Mr Kim let out a fatherly laugh.

"You want me to introduce one to you instead? I have a friend in the states that has a lovely daughter. She is currently in Korea studying. Well I haven't met her in person yet but the pictures are-"

"Abeoji." Kai cut his father off with a chuckle.

The elder man cleared his throat as he was smiling.

"A brief dinner won't hurt right? You'll be the judge."

"Alright but I have surgeries scheduled this week. I'll tell you when." Kai nodded, not wanting to refuse his father.

"You are always such a nice son, Kai." His father said proudly. Kai just shook his head amusingly.

"Sure, dad."
