"Chae, you can see them after anyways. What's the rush?" Leira groaned tiredly.

Hwiyun had his head on her shoulder while they walked lazily at the backstage.

Dohyon is nowhere to be seen.

"Legends passing by!" Chae suddenly steered them to the side letting the 7 men walk through.

She had her hand on her forehead, saluting while they walk passed them whom clearly entertained by Chae's action.

"Long live Bulletproof."

"Tell Taejin I said Hi, Chae."

"Roger that."

Leira and Hwiyun just bowed politely at them, pushing their weird friend to move along.

"He could like get it. Not gonna lie." Chae snickered as they become a human train.

"Yah Lee Chaerin!"

"Bibi!"

"Ayeeeeee." The two did a handshake making the people around them laugh.

The whole members walked to them greeting each other.

But then Chae gasped.

"Holy god of birds!"

"You guys were awesome." Leira said smiling when the whole BIG7 came to view.

"I can almost hear your hips creaking."

"Right right?" One of the guys throw his arm around Leira casually.

"Come on, lets go back to the hotel. We don't want Taejin's little sister to get in dating scandal with us again." The leader said with a teasing grin while pulling his kids to the van.

"See ya, Chae."

"He could also get it." Chae sighed in content when the van sped away.

"Chaerin having her best y/n life." Leira said amused.

"Nah, she doesn't count." Bibi intervened.

"Why?"

"She got a superstar as her brother. You on the other hand-"

"Leira is the real y/n." Chae grinned while Leira just looked at them warily.

"One thing though." she said.

"What?"

"You guys read fan fictions huh."

"Where are you honey?"

Leira could hear her mother's concerned tone.

"Japan. Is there anything you need? Its late." She stood up from her seat and went out to the balcony as Bibi called Chae a cheater while the others were just being plain chaotic.

"I heard from your dad that you are seeing a doctor-"

"And what about it?"

"Honey you should think more carefully about your future. Kai is going to be a great partner in long term." Her mother starts to nag.

"Mom please-"

"Have you done a background check on him?"

Leira felt her nails dig her palm.

"I gotta go, my friends are calling. Bye." She ended the call with a big sigh and leaned back to the railings.

"Rough day?"

"Not really."

"Oh right.You got engaged once. Fun?"

"Do you want to die?"

Her friend grinned and joined her enjoying the midnight breeze.

"So I heard your mom came back."

"Yeah. A woman whom I never seen in my life suddenly appeared in my life, Daniel."

"Yikes."

"No shit." Leira rubbed her temple.

"Lemme guess, she's not fond of your boy."

"Social status." Leira shivered disgustedly at the thought of that.

"If only things were simple like back when we were kids huh."

"Yeah I love getting my lunch only to have it stolen by you." Leira said socking him teasingly.

Daniel and her had been friends ever since elementary school until he moved to Japan, following his fathers future plan for him.

"You weren't going to finish it anyways." He laughed and patted her shoulder firmly.

"Alright, cheer up. Make their life miserable while you're at it. Make them think that its a mistake to meddle in your life. I got cho back bro."

"Bro."

"You can get through this bro."

"Thanks bro." Leira faked a tear. Daniel nodded proudly.

"Just tell me when are you going to riot. I'll bring the flame thrower."

Seunwo yawned as he finished his third surgery for the day. Stretching a bit, he made his way to the vending machine.

"Yo, boyfriend. Lets go to the bar. I need alcohol."

"You're not suppose to talk."

"Yet I'm still talking."

Seunwo chuckled and throw his arm around the guy, walking together leaving the hospital.

"You're actually short huh Kai."

"Nah, you're just freakishly tall. What are you trying to be? A train door?" Kai snorted, pushing the guy's hand off his shoulder.

"Hm, not too bad being a train door rather than-"

"Woo come on, cut me some slacks."

The latter grinned playfully at him.

"Hyung."

The two doctors halted from walking.

"Oh, Wushin-ah." Seunwo nodded. Wushin glanced at Kai briefly before turning to Seunwo.

"Can we talk?"

"Dohyon still MIA?"

Hwiyun nodded giving her room card.

"I saw him leaving with that guy you researched for fun. The Yakuza."

"Nakamoto Yuu? Heol, that dude." Leira said clearly intrigued.

"I know that face. Drop it. Last time you researched about them you nearly got caught and-"

"-and found dead in a ditch. Yeah I'm aware, Hwi." She grinned and swipe her room card when she arrived at the door.

"See ya tomorrow loser." Hwiyun ruffled her hair before dashing to his room and closed it.

Leira rolled her eyes and got into her room to rest for the night.

She yawned a bit as she finished washing up and checked her phone. Her eyes widened.

"What the fuck?"

The headline made her stood back up from her bed.

'THE ENGAGEMENT OF KIM KAI AND KIM LEIRA REPORTEDLY CANCELLED DUE TO AN AFFAIR WITH A SURGEON.'

"How-"

Leira dialed his number instantly, not caring even if its already in the middle of the night.

"Yeobo."

"What are you a celebrity? Why are there articles about us? How- what the heck is going on? We're not-"

"Lei, this is the world we live in. The children of old money are always being watched. You know that. Besides, the article is not wrong though. You are having an affair while being engaged to me."

"Don't you dare fuck around with me, Kim Kai. I'm serious. He's already tired enough." Leira grimaced.

Kai let out a long sigh.

"Give it a few days to die down. Go to sleep, Leilei." He said and ended the call.

"Sometimes reality is harsh. I hope that dude is strong enough for it." Kai tossed his phone to his side table.

Leira rubbed her eyes as she parked her car in the porch. Just awhile ago she safely landed in South Korea. Instead of spending the night in Japan, she decides to fly back.

Drowsily walking to the front door she sent a quick message.

"He couldn't possibly be up at 3am." She chuckled to herself but paused when her phone beeped.

Before she could reply back, a call came in making her grin.

"Aye, Doctor Han. You're fast."

"Do you want me to pick you up?"

"Nah. I'm at home already. Why are you still up?" Leira asked.

"That's fast. Its dangerous, Leira. " Seunwo said making Leira chuckle.

She could hear him shuffling through the phone probably walking to her.

Sure enough, the call ended and the door opened, revealing Seunwo who was clad with comfy t-shirt and sweats.

"Hi." He said opening the door for her.

Leira smiled as she looked at his face and mindlessly trace his features.

"You must be really tired." He said gently pulling her inside and close the door.

"Go change. I'll make you some tea-"

He paused when Leira wrapped her arms around his waist, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" He caressed her hair comfortingly.

"I'm sorry." Leira muttered. He knew exactly what she meant.

Instead of saying anything, he just hummed.

"If I'm a little bit shorter, I could lean directly on your chest instead. That would be cute." She pulled away but his hands stayed on her waist.

"This is perfect for me though." He said making her scrunch her nose, cringing.

She absentmindedly played with his bangs when suddenly the thought of losing him crept up. Him on the other hand was thinking about the conversation between him and Wushin.

"Seunwo."

Seunwo hummed.

"If... one day, things got out of hands can you promise me something?" Leira said biting her lips.

Seunwo could feel her getting tense.

"What?"

"Promise me, you would stay for me."
