What's wrong?

Light slips through the curtain making Leira awake from her slumber.

She pulled the cover closed to her as she felt no energy to wake up and do anything just yet.

"Morning."

"H-hi." She paused when she opened her eyes.

Seunwo let out a chuckle as she stuttered.

"You were staring aren't you?" Leira rubbed her eyes drowsily.

He was sitting at the chair by the window with a book in hand, looking fresher than ever. She always love how he looked in the morning.

"Are you not going to wake up? Its noon." He poke her cheek when she snuggle more to her pillow.

"You said its morning."

She groaned out.

"Let's go out." Seunwo said ignoring her laziness.

"Night shift?"

He hummed agreeing, squatting down next to her so that he's on the same eye level. She smiled sheepishly.

"Can we just stay in?"

Expecting him to join when he stood up, Leira was surprised when he lifted her from the bed and set her down to her feet in the bathroom.

"Shower."

Moving reluctantly Leira did what he asked.

"Can I borrow one of your t-shirts?"

She grinned when a flying beige colored shirt flew to her.

Feeling refreshed and cold, she paired the shirt with her loose same colored pants and was ready to throw herself back on the bed but her beau had other plans.

"Aaaand I am up in the air again." Leira chuckled while he took her purse and her favorite pair of Balenciaga trainers.

Still holding her like a bag of rice, he went down the stairs making her starts questioning.

"Where are we going Woo yah~ I don't have energy. I haven't put my makeup on." Leira tapped his back weakly.

Ignoring her question, he put her at the passenger seat and put on her seatbelt for her like a real gentleman. She looked at him weirdly. He just grinned at her and closed the door.

"What is this kind of Han Seunwo, I don't think my heart is ready." Leira muttered to herself as her eyes followed him making his way to the driver seat.

"Have mercy."

"Will this be alright?"

The woman read the title again and nodded. She looked at the journalist and smiled.

"This is perfect."

"When do you want this to be released?" The journalist asked, closing his laptop and keep it away inside his bag.

"When I tell you so but I will transfer the first half to you for agreeing."

"This is big scoop. I should thank you instead."

With a bow, the journalist left the woman in the cafe. Holding the cup of tea to her lips, a smile crept up her lips.

"Let's see if they can handle being pressured and all the attention on her."

"Be nice."

"Depends."

Hwiyun gave a look to Dohyon which makes him nodded and patted Chae's head.

"Be nice first then you judge her, babe. You're the one who wanted him to introduce his girlfriend to you."

"Yeah true."

The door opened and revealed a girl wearing a sundress and high boots. Hwiyun waved her over to their table.

"Sena. This is my friends, Chae and Dohyon." He said introducing them to his girlfriend. Chae kept a innocent face, welcoming her warmly.

"So you and Chae has been friends since freshman?" Sena asked, stabbing her steak. Hwiyun nodded.

"Yeah. She's hard not be friends with but somehow she chose who she wants to be friends with."

"We kind of grew closer as friends during our second semester and then Dohyon somehow appeared out of nowhere honestly." Chae smiled to which Sena just nodded.

"Must be nice to be surrounded with pretty boys. So you're the only girl in this close friend circle?"

Hwiyun raised his eyebrows at his girlfriend's tone of voice.

"Ah no, there's another person." Chae said nonchalantly. Dohyon wanted to snort with her change of mood.

They talked for awhile and everything seems fine until Hwiyun excuse himself to go the restroom.

"I have to take this call. Chae, at least wait for me before you do anything." Dohyon said muttering the last sentence just for Chae to hear.

"I'm going to be frank, I don't like you Lee Chaerin." Sena said as if in cue.

"Chill sis, you just met me."

"Hwi got himself a girlfriend yet again? How many is it now?" Leira asked amused. Seunwo could hear her friend being vocal about it.

"Why are you cranky? Don't tell me... you're jealous?"

She laughed as Chae starts to curse at her.

"You don't get it. She's annoying! First meeting and she has already asking me to stop being friends with him. Wait till she sees how that dude is with you, she will lose her fucking mind!"

"Well to her defense, we are kinda close to him. What girlfriend wont be jealous." Leira reasoned.

"You, Lei. You." Chae said annoyed. Leira snorted at that.

"I suck as a girlfriend, I know."

Seunwo made a face to which she just shrugged.

"Well yeah kinda, you almost got engaged while having a boyfriend."

"You're nice." He mouthed. Leira narrowed her eyes at him.

"Look, I gotta go. If Hwi wants to date a bitch, let him be. We're not his mom to judge."

"Where are you going? Is it Seunwo or K-"

Leira ended the call before Chae could finish her sentence the same time as Seunwo getting out of the big hammock they sat in together easily.

"Nu uh, nope. As much as I love you carrying me, no."

"You just said you love it."

"Yeah but no."

"Kay." He give space for her to hop down but soon threw her over his shoulder.

"Yah Han Seunwo!"

"The weather is nice up here right?"

"I hate you." Leira muttered lowly. He hummed.

"Do you now?"

"Who am I kidding."

Seunwo just laughed and set her down.

"Come" He extend his palm to her.

"Do you still send people to clean this place?" Leira asked taking in the view of the forest.

The luxurious treehouse blended well with the nature and it almost hard to notice even if you're around the forest.

"Yeah. We did bought it so I have to make sure its well kept."

"Still can't remember how we purchase it though."

"It was a crazy night." He said amused, holding her hand securely as they went down the stairs of the tree.

Truth be told, they had too much to drink, they ended up getting a house grant under both of their names and a key. It took them a week to find the house.

Though he is rather reserved and outspoken when he is drunk, drunk Leira will be the death of anyone.

"So this is your going out idea?" She looked at their intertwined hands briefly before playfully nudge his shoulder.

She noticed how he was extra clingy today and she's not complaining.

"It's a win-win situation. You wanted to be lazy and I want to be outside with you." He shrugged beaming at her. Leira felt her heart squeezed.

"Woo."

"Hm?"

"I love you." Leira gave a quick peck on his cheek before sliding into the car.

Seunwo touched his heart briefly.

"Doc, you're going to be late. Its already dawn." Leira rolled down the window.

"Yeah."

Seunwo pushed his thoughts away and drove back to reality.

"Just tell me if it gets hard. I don't want you to overwork." Kai's father said as they reached to the basement parking lot.

"I'm alright. I choose my surgeries thanks to you but you should keep an eye on Han Seunwo though. He's too nice. I never seen him out doing regular routine like a normal human being."

"That I'm aware of but he's good at what he does, Kai. Let the man be. Besides, he did have a girlfriend-"

Kai looked to his father when the elder suddenly halted. Following his eyes, Kai sighed inwardly.

Seunwo had his arms wrapped around her waist, burying his face in her neck while Leira patted his head.

"I told you we should stay at home instead but you insisted on going out."

He grunted.

"I'm hungry again, are you done?" Leira said teasingly due to his long embrace.

"I'm recharging."

"Dude."

Seunwo chuckled and let her go.

"Dr Han."

Leira tensed when she heard the voice. She bowed slightly, greeting him. Then she saw how Kai was avoiding her eyes.

"Now that I see you two, I almost feel bad in pairing Kai with Leira. Sorry you got into a scandal." Kai's father said. Leira scratched her nape feeling a bit awkward to be caught in front of him.

Hugging.

"Ah its fine. It don't bother me as much as your son." Seunwo said good naturally. Kai made a face at him.

"How long have you known each other?" Kai's father asked them. Leira looked at Seunwo for help.

"Um, two years? Right?"

"Ah yes. Two years.." Seunwo said suddenly timid.

"Then can I expect a wedding soon?"

Seunwo tensed when the words left Dr Kim's mouth. Kai was zoning out and Leira just smiled and looked at Kai pointedly.

"Okay dad, go home now." Kai said ushering his father to the car.

"Young people nowadays, you never know what will happen in the future. Keep in mind that Leira's father acts fast." Kai's father said laughing and went to his car before driving off. Leira sighed.

"Wow, your dad."

"Yeah my bad."

"Kai, take Leira home with you. I don't want her to drive in the middle of the night so its safer with you." Seunwo said suddenly.

"Oh-"

"See you tomorrow, Lei." He said kissing the side of her head before walking to the elevator.
