"Can I question you now?"
"What do you want to ask?" Leira blinked feeling little sparks when he took her hand into his gentle hand. "U-um, Seunwo I don't think I understand-"
"I don't think I can be just a friend. Give me a chance to get to know you better." He said clearer, making sure her eyes focused on nothing but him.
Leira felt her mind clouds as the words left his mouth.
"You're going to make this hard for me. You have a beautiful career and I.. I will always get into a bad reputation. I've been thinking and I realized that I'm not suitable for you. I don't think we can-- !"
Leira felt his soft lips planted on hers, tilting up her face. He tenderly hold the back of her head guiding her in. She takes no time in responding back, letting the long bottled up feelings go.
"Be with me." He said as they pulled away to catch their breath, leaning his forehead onto hers. Fresh tears streamed down her face hearing him saying what she had longed to hear.
"I can't."
"Just for today. Lets forget about everything and just focus on me, us."
Looking up to his gentle yet sorrowful gaze, she felt the walls that she had been build up crumbles to the ground. At least for that moment,
At that very moment under the eyes of the person she had fallen hard for,
She wanted to hold onto him.
The little nod was all he need to do everything he could, bringing her back to his side. She brought her arms around his neck as he tighten the embrace.

"What do we got?" Kai asked as soon as he got into the room.
The female took off her headset and pushed her chair back to the table where he had sat down.
"Rona Chen. 35 years old. A socialist, had multiple shares under her name. Typical rich woman."
"Go on. Don't make me wait." Kai sighed to which she grinned.
"Aye Sir Kai, you know me too well." She said before presenting him a document with Rona's picture attached on the front page. "She has been seen going out with multiple rich business men but the relationships often ended in at least 3 months."
"Have any reasons?" Kai asked seeing the photographs of familiar faces being close to the woman. Most of them have a wife.
"Threats." She gave a device to him to see. Kai raised his eyebrows at the text messages.
"She threaten them with the secrets that she gathered while following them around, faked a pregnancy and threaten to tell their wives and most recent is to your girl, threatening with someone's life."
"And she had been loose without being caught? Interesting." Kai said chuckling. Perhaps the woman who is the blood mother of Leira is not just a normal gold digger.
"She has her way wrapping people around her fingers. It's like she has dirt on everyone's name." She hummed, moving her fingers imitating an evil witch.
"Good work Sera." Kai nodded, patting the girls head before standing up. She beamed proudly.
"What are you going to do, sir?" His assistant asked. Kai turned to look at them.
"Keep an eye on her. Everyone has a weakness. I'm sure she's hiding it somewhere."
"Yes sir."
Kai went inside his car and let out the longest sigh.
"This is how much I love you, Leira. Too bad all you see is Seunwo."

Leira wakes up to the sound of soft waves crashing the bay. She squinted her eyes as she felt the sun rays and finally focused her eyes on a broad shoulder, leaning back to the hood of the car, facing the sea.
The memory of the night before made her think that she's still in a pleasant dream that she never wanted to wake up from.
The door closed making Seunwo turned to look at her. She mindlessly went to him and he opened his arm as if he could hear her thoughts.
His perfectly sculpted face, gentle eyes, never fail to make her heart skip a beat. His soft hair was slightly messy as the fringe slightly covered his eyes.
"Hi." He said as she hugged him, burying her face in his neck.
"Sorry I fell asleep." She murmured to which he just hummed assuringly.
"I'm sure you were tired. Crying takes energy after all."
"Did you get any sleep?" She looked up to him meeting his warm smile.
"Yes. We arrived around midnight. Breakfast?"
—
That day, they had spend time with each other as if they were in a vacation away from their lives.
Holding hands, walking and chatting, enjoying their day together like a regular couple.
"That's cute."
"What is?" Seunwo lowered his head to leveled with hers, following her eyes.
"The skeleton keychain. Reminds me of your anatomy thing during college." She grinned and walked to the small stall.
"It does look like it." He nodded.
"Woo, look at this! Its a mini dancing skeleton." Leira looked back to him and waved him over excitedly.
Her smile reached her eyes happily as Seunwo felt his heart ache for her.
"Want me to buy that for you?"
"I already bought it though."
He chuckled as she sniffled because of the cold wind and walked back to him with the skeleton in hand.
"Now we have a couple keychain."
"Hmm, skeleton as couple chains?" Seunwo said amusingly.
"It's cute, you like skeletons, I like what you like so why not."
Seunwo could only smile at her adorable self. The redness on her nose from the cold only made her cuter to his likings.
"Where are you going to put that skeleton?" He took of his coat and put it around her warmly.
"I'm going to sweat, Woo. I'm already wearing two layers."
Leira hooked the skeleton to her bag and hooked his onto his car key. She tried to take off his coat but he hold it still.
"Nope."
"Yes."
"No."
"Seun-"
Leira blinked when he pulled the coat making their lips touched sharing a soft kiss.
"Heart attack, Seunwo. Heart attack." Leira chuckled leaning her forehead to his.
"Always."
