******Eric's POV ******
well I simply can't believe that I have been married for 3 months. Violet pretends to be all innocent to an extent where as you actually almost believe her, but I it all a little facade that I can see right through. She is a good for nothing spoilt brat, they all are...
I have been on like seven Incredibly long business trips to avoid her, but I have realized that I can't hide anymore. All of this nonsense has been taking a terrible toll on me, which only meant that it was time to do the inevitable and just face her.
I came back a couple of days ago and saw her lounging on the sofa in her pajamas. She looked like she was binging a series and took no notice of my arrival.
I was currently in a business meeting with an asshole, Mr Marvin Roger. I can't handle this guy but he is my father's closest client. As I was walking him out, I looked up and noticed Violet.
Agh! She just had to come now whilst I was in a meeting with the biggest womanizing asshole, "Hypocrite." Said a voice in the back of my head. (Subconscious).
"Whatever!" I mumbled to myself.
I watched as his eyes roamed down her body. The look on his wrinkled face made me sick as well as infuriate, all me a t the same time. I need that disgusting pervert to know what is mine. Did I just seriously call her mine?
No, no,nooo! She is nothing to me. After the awkward encounter with Mr Roger, I grabbed Violet's hand and pulled her into my office. I was fuming with anger.

In the evening it was finally time to go to my mother's ungodly event that she threw every year. I can't believe I agreed to go but nothing is worse that Violet's continuous blabbing, not even a party filled with stuck-up rich people.
I was waiting in the entrance hall for Violet. I stared anxiously at the stairs anticipating her arrival. Finally she showed up with one of her bright smiles. She looked mesmerizing in a beautiful long off the shoulder Navy blue flare dress. The bottom half of her dress had crescent moons and stars painted in sliver with a transparent piece of material over.
I heard her clear her throat which brought me back to reality. Okay... Well I don't know what just came over me. "Come on, let's go! We are running late because of you." I told her and walked out the house.

******Violet's POV ******
We entered the driveway. I looked up the cream mansion that practically looked like a castle. We made our way to the first door and just as I reached for the first step, Eric grabbed my hand and pulled me against his chest. I lifted my head up to meet his beautiful emerald eyes. Oh...wow and he smells so good, I wonder what cologne he uses... Wait! What? What am I saying? Just as I was about to venture down my rabbit hole of thought, a deep voice brought me back to reality.
"Please be on your best behavior." Eric said sternly.
"Who me?" I asked looking around," Don't worry tough guy, besides when am I not?" I said trying to give him a innocent smile," But do you know what shocked me today?" I said in a totally surprised voice.
"Oh, do enlighten me?" He said with not the slightest bit of interest.
"I was shocked to know that somebody actually had manners. I mean who would have thought?" I said shaking my head and my eyes displayed pure disbelief.
I laughed as he growled. Awe shame, he is already fed up of me. You make me suffer, I make you suffer.
"Really, you so bad? Why don't you drink milk straight out of the box while you at it?" Said the familiar voice of my subconscious at the back of my head.
Eric moved forward and opened the door for me," And they say chivalry died." I said with a surprise look.
"Just get inside." He said as he pushed my back gently through the entrance.from the side of my eye I could see a smirk form on his face. After entering the mansion we made our way to the ballroom.
Of course that's a normal thing everyone has.
Oh my God! It looked like a beautiful forest with colourful flowers and fairy lights hanging from the room. It was practically a forest dripping with class, it looked like a magical scene from a midsummer night's dream. I suddenly felt extremely self-conscious about my appearance.
"Don't worry, you look great. My mother just has a tendency of going a bit too overboard." He whispered next to my ear causing me to turn and face him.
"Is that a compliment I hear?" I said with a goofy smile but Eric chose just ignored me and his eyes continued to scan the crowd of people," Isn't that your mother?" I asked him as I pointed at the woman in a huge off the shoulder bright yellow ball gown that was high and low on the left hand side, showing off her legs. She had yellow roses on the top of her dress with very puffy net sleeves.
"Oh, wow...uhm... I think that it is. She really pulled out all the stops." He said awkwardly.
We made our way to the front of the room where his mother was busy mingling," My babies!" She exclaimed joyfully and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw us," I am so happy to see the both of you here."
"We're happy to see you too." I said whilst greeting her.
"Hello mum." said Eric with a smile that reached his eyes. If he loved his mother so much, why was he so reluctant to come? All of a sudden his bright smile faded and anger was the only thing displayed on his face. I moved my eyes to try and see who he was glaring at with so much of hatred. Realization dawned upon me when my eyes came in line with his father.
