Sick Bastard

It official, I hate my life.

I stood in an airport holding a plaque card that had " Smith's" written on it, waiting patiently for their arrival.

The though of being away from that devil made me so happy. It's like we're at war, both of us going all out of our way just to make sure that we either annoy or piss each other off. After he made me his assistant I put a shit ton of hair removal cream in his body wash and shampoo and he tried to food poison me.

Sick Bastard.

With him constantly breathing down my neck (and not in the good way) I kinda needed fresh air, so you can imagine how I jumped to the opportunity to fetch his Royal highness's aristocrat family of two from the airport.

A loud ring drew me out of my trail of complaints and gained mostly everyone's attention, including mine as "I like big butts" by MC Hammer played.

Talk about inappropriate ringtones.

It took me a few seconds to acknowledge the buzzing in my petite white handbag. Oh, shit! Ethan seriously? I groaned in embarrassment as I quickly answer the phone.

"Hello?" I asked awkwardly as I still felt everyone's eyes on me.

"Hey, Vi! How you doing?" Asked the voice.

"Hunter! It so good to hear from you. I am actually doing pretty well so far and you?"

"I am doing well so how did it go with my advice?" He asked and I could actually hear his smile, if that even makes any sense.

" Well how would you punish the devil?" I asked with a slight laugh.

"I don't know Vi, how would you?" He asked curiously.

" you call his father." I said with a smile.

"Oh, wow. That's...You know I actually don't know what to say ." He laughed awkwardly.

When I looked I spotted the people that I am required to entertain. They were coming down the escalator," Ooh...got to go, the arrival of the potential snobs have cut this conversation short."

"Why can't you just say that they are here like a normal person ?" He asked.

" Shut up Hunter. Normal is over -rated as well as boring which I am far from. Now seriously I got to go, love you bye." I said quickly.

"Love you too, bye." And with that I cut the call.

Just before their feet could hit the ground I lifted the card higher, earning an eye roll from Cora Smith.

I dub thee an official snob.

"Hi, I am—" just before I could finish my sentence, the gremlin cut me off.

"I really don't care who you are and I already know who sent you, so there is no need to bore me with the details. Now take these bags." She shoved about five bags in my hand," Come along Alex." She said to the little boy walking behind her legs.

"Excuse me! I am not a—"

"Shhhhh!" She said lifting her index finger vertically in front of my face.

Did this lady just shush me? What the hell is wrong with theses people?! It's like they are all some kind of dysfunctional breed of snobs, including Eric. Even though I was beyond pissed, being the good employee that I am, I left her bags on the floor and walked to the car.

We entered the mansion and I showed them to their suites before walking downstairs into the kitchen. I began helping Rosa with lunch.

"Awe, thank you darling but you do know you didn't have to." Said Rosa whilst stirring the Alfredo.

"No thank you for teaching me new techniques." I replied whilst setting the dinning room table," Damn look at the time, please can you pack lunch for him. I have to run to the office now." I explained.

"Now? Don't you wan to eat first?" She asked.

"Aaah... I don't think so, just keep a portion away for me. I will be back in an hour, bye. Oh, and be careful she's a Bambino viziato."

(Bambino Viziato= spoilt child)

"Lo faro, Grazie." She said after handing me his food.

(lo faro, Grazie= I will do it, thanks)

"So, what's your number?" He said with his signature smirk to one of the new interns.

Poor little blonde.

" Sir you STD results came back positive!" I shouted loudly. The blonde awkwardly moved away from his side and ran out his office as he glared at me which made me smile, flashing my pearly whites.

"Violet? Really?" Said Eric who was now officially pissed.

"What do you mean ?" I asked with an innocent smile.

"You know damn well what I mean!" He yelled.

"If you explain maybe—"

"You know what forget it, what the hell are you in my office?!" He shouted more.

" Gosh don't get your panties in a knot. I am here to inform you of their arrival at the mansion and to also personally complain about Miss Smith's shocking behavior. Do you know what she did?" I said placing both my palms on his desk and leaned forward.

"Do I really want to know?" He asked in a 'I don't give a shit' tone, which earned him a glare," Fine. What?"

"She shushed me. I haven't been shushed since second grade when I was talking in the library. Oh, and let's not forget how she threw her baggage at me like I am some slave. So I let her know, I am not one to piss off or well she will find out soon enough." I said sliding in the chair in front of him.

"Oh...you didn't do what I think you did? Did you?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"If it's something along the lines of carelessly leaving her bags on the floor of the airport for any corrupt citizen to steal, then yes."

"Oh thank God." He said relieved.

"Really? What did you think I did? Kill her?" I said joking but his face showed guilt," you really thing I would have killed her? Wow, you... Agh, whatever. Here is your food, goodbye." I said handing him a container.

"bye."

"What are you still doing here? Don't you have a life?" Asked the brat as I walked into the entrance hall.

"I live here. Even though it's none of your business no, I don't . My life seems to sadly revolves around my boss." I replied honestly whilst walking up the stairs to get dressed into some comfortable cloths.

i walked into the kitchen, "Hey there gorgeous," I said to Rosa making her smile," don't worry I will cook today." I told her smiling and she sat down on the black barstool counter chairs to keep me company," So how was the..."

"A hand full, her parents never raised her well." Rosa said with a pulled face making me laugh.

the two of us continued our conversation until, the brat came," Is your filthy self cooking my food." She asked.

"Yes...but I am not filthy." I said very confused.

"I don't care, I am phoning Eric because we are eating out." She complained.

"Cool, more for us." I said with a blank expression making her more angry. She pulled out her phone and began talking.

" I was wondering if we could eat out. I don't think your assistant is clean enough to cook," she said in a weird ass voice. You could hear the faint voice of his on the other end but it clear enough to know what he was saying.

"But...I...You...Okay." She said in defeat.

"Aghhhhh!!!" Was her last screech before she stormed off on her heels.

"I'm home!" Shouted a voice that could only belong to Eric.

"Agh! Man! I was still listening for sirens hoping that the police would bring me delightful new of your death." I said absolutely disappointed in a jokey way," that way I could have Monday off."

"Haha, very funny Violet." He said with a fake smile.

"So how was your phone call with Cruella?" He raised an eyebrow, I am assuming to the childish nickname that oddly suites her personality very well.

"Nothing I would ever tell you because your head might explode." He said smirking I now wonder what compliment he could have given me for him to that it would all go to my head.

"You know—" before I could finish, a loud scream filled the house. Eric and I looked at each other frowning before we sprinted upstairs to the origin of the painful scream. Which inevitably lead us to Cora's suite.

"Who died?" I yelled as I entered.

"What? No one died. My five hundred thousand dollar Chanel bags are missing." She said devastated.

"Oh no, not the Chanel." I said trying to kill down the sarcastic tone laced in the words.

"Seriously? " Eric asked. Both of our shoulders were touching, which gave me the opportunity to secretly hit him on the back of his head. He looked at me with a confusion and irritation in his eyes and I signaled him to shut up.

" What am I gonna do now, it was limited Edition! My life is over!" She yelled again.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcoming the future of Smith's incorporation.

Oh, brother...

These are gonna be the longer days of my life.
