Exsqueeze Me!

*****Violet's POV*****

"She is what?!" I yelled in the Cafe because Hunter told me about his pregnant girlfriend, Diana whom Eric and I came here to meet.

"Shush!" said Hunter in an attempt to quiet me down by waving his hands all up in my face.

Exsqueeze me!

"Shush. Shush, you say. What the hell is wrong with people saying that word?! Scratch that it's not even a word it's a fricken sound!" by now Eric was dying from lack of oxygen as he laughed his lungs out and Hunter remained confused.

Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale.

"Okay...okay, I'm calm." both men gave me a suspicious look," What? Why must I worry? It's not like I was the one that knocked someone up. Just out of curiosity, does your mother know?" I asked.

"No." he said shifting uncomfortably in his chair.

"Does her parents know?"

"No."

"No?! Are you serious? Then who the hell did you both tell? Hunt you need to tell your mother and she needs to tell her parents. I mean a baby is not something you can hide for long!" I felt a shoe kick my leg causing me to glare at Eric, he gave me a look telling me to clam down.

"Fine." I mumbled as a took a sip of my coffee.

Just as I caved in, a beautiful girl with ombre hair walked into the Cafe in a cool long summer dress with a blue and pick leaves printed all over it. The girl made her way to our table,"Hi, I'm Diana." She said flashing her pearly whites making both the men go in a daze which made me elbow Eric in the hip.

"Hi, Diana. I am Violet, my friends call me Vi and this is my husband, Eric." I said mirroring her smile.

"I know." She said laughing," Hunter, doesn't ever stop talking about any of you guys."

We spoke for hours, laughing about all the stupid shit we did when we were teenagers. A loud buzz distracted me, i picked up my phone and saw the message. After all these months of avoiding it, it finally caught up. I looked up at Hunter, when our eyes met we both let out a groaned.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

"Okay. now i know it's bad timing to tell you this, like right on the was to my parents house but here's a short history lesson that you can't forget." I said to Eric who just rolled his eyes.

" Okay...so you have met my biological parents, Lillian and Allister Quaters. I am not close with them at all and if I have it my way, we won't meet them again." I explained leaving out a lot of other crucial part that just was not relevant right now.

"Okay..." said Eric awkwardly.

"So now you have my biological father's brother, Markus who is technically my uncle but he has always been more of a father to me so I regard him as my dad. Markus is married to Chloe, who is also more of a mother to me and I regard her as my mum. You keeping up?" I asked.

" Yes. just continue we almost there." he stated.

"They have three children, the oldest is Sophia or well we all call her Sophie which you already knew. Then you have Alec, a darling sixteen year old boy who is just going through that crazy teenage phase. He is actually a lot like you, both of you pretend to be all though." if looks could kill I would be six feet under right now," Lastly there is Ruby. The little angel of the house who would probably have you wrapped around her little finger by dessert. I know that you will get along well with all of them." I said positively.

"So basically we're going to see the family you like? " He asked with a raised eyebrow before he turned into the driveway.

"More or less." I said with a little laugh, " We started the weekly dinners when we were all in high school, it was around the time Hunter's mother just got divorced. It became our tradition and later on Ethan and Camila joined us. Hunter stopped going cause he met Diana, I think and after I got married to you I began dodging the dinners, because I knew if they asked about you and about all your business trips I couldn't exactly tell them you were avoiding me." I explained to him.

" You knew I was avoiding you?" he asked with a hint of guilt in his voice.

"Eric you are many things such as cocky, irritating and humorous but my friend subtle, you are just not." I laughed.

We stood outside a very familiar blue house on the porch,"Okay...you ready?" I asked and he nodded.

He pushed the doorbell and grabbed my hand,"Let's act." He said whilst putting on one of his best smiles as the door opened.

I really hope dinner goes well...
