Hot Spring

A slime walked through the kitchen and approached Liu Kai. There was something Liu Kai felt on his foot, so he decided to check it out. He kicked the ground to push the chair he's sitting in and check what's the squishy thing on his feet.

"WAAAAH!" He was shocked to see a drop-like shaped creature bouncing on the floor. It has a pink translucent body, two round eyes, and a big cute mouth pouting at him.

Desmund Brashford saw the round slime getting cheeky to Liu Kai and laughed at them.

"Hey, I'm sorry I didn't introduce Keira. She's a slime that always begs for food. Errr-I'm not sure if she's a girl though," explained Desmund Brashford as he laughed about it.

'What a cute little creature. It looks like it's asking for food.' Liu Kai grabbed a bread on the table basket and put it in the slime's mouth.

'Woah, this is a slime? So cute.' Liu Kai said to himself, closing his face to the slime on the floor, watching the slime chew the bread inside its mouth, eyes closed, and with a delightful expression.

He rubbed its head, and the slime made a sweet expression and produced cute sounds. "Oh, she likes it. Keira, what a lovely name," Liu Kai smiled genuinely for the first time since he woke up while still observing the new creature he just met.

Liu Kai has a soft spot for animals as the only one to accompany him to his house. He has a lot of cats and a puppy to prevent him from feeling alone. Now that he recalled it, he felt a bit of despair to think of what had happened to them during the Great Catastrophe.

That's one of the reasons he'd like to go to Sheng Chan as soon as he woke up. He's rational for not hoping to see them alive. He knew he might not see them again, but deep inside, there's still a little hope left in his heart.

He knew it wasn't the same degree as what happened to Jin Chow, Sergio Von Croy, and King Lee, but for him, it was still a huge heartbreak.

Liu Kai smiled gently as he patted Keira on her head, observing her adorable reactions.

"After this, we're going to go to the hot spring. I mean, you guys are so smelly," King Lee bluntly said.

"THERE'S HOT SPRING HERE???" Jing Chow asked excitedly, like a child.

"Oh, did you remember the Volcanic arcs before? Before we sleep, let's go take a bath and relax." King Lee stated.

"And I'm going to change our bedsheets while nobody's here," said Desmund Brashford, rubbing his large belly.

After eating and sitting for a moment, they took their food containers to the sink before heading to the Hotspring. After a long time, they all seem happy with eating the right foods.

Everyone is happy as they stroll, and Jin Chow sings like a child as they're on their way. "We're going to a hot spring. We're going to a hot spring," he sang repeatedly.

They entered right away when they got there. There's a lobby where you need to pay in cash before you get in. It's a human woman who greeted them and wondered how many of them were there.

The lady has a short bob blue haircut and a voluptuous figure. She's too stunning for every country's norm, and she looks so elegant.

The displeasure about their smell can be seen on the woman's face, but the woman tried her best not to show it to them. Liu Kai noticed it and remained standing far away from them.

'Ahh, this sucks.' He smelled his underarm and his worn-out high school uniform.

"Hi! Choi Nayeon." King Lee gave up his hand as he embraced the lovely woman.

"Hey, it's you, Knight King Lee," said Choi Nayeon, bowing to show gratitude.

"Oh, no need. And stop calling me a knight. I choose to be a regular citizen here." King Lee grinned slightly.

It looks like King Lee assured the lady that they would rent the entire place for themselves.

Choi Nayeon took them to where the bathroom is and where the male hot spring is.

"Hey, King Lee, yeah! Who's that hot lady, huh?" questioned Jin Chow.

"Ah, Choi Nayeon. Buddy, don't even bother. She doesn't like a kid like you," said King Lee, reaching his back, holding a bathroom sponge to clean it.

"Who's the kid?" Jin Chow threatened, but King Lee looked away.

"Nevermind," King Lee muttered.

They all cleaned themselves in the bathroom before they headed to the hot spring.

All went to the hot spring, except for Liu Kai. He's still in the shower, washing his body intensively.

'When was the last time I washed myself? Was it two years ago? Ugh, that's too lame.' Liu Kai said to himself. Then he went out.

'Where is it again?' Liu Kai did not know where he was supposed to go and ended up walking back to the lobby with a towel wrapping his lower body.

Liu Kai assumed that it was just natural for them to see a guy half-naked and not to care too hard about it. Before asking, he confronts the lady.

"Miss, would you please help me out?" Liu Kai calmly said.

"A-ahh y-yes? H-how can I help?" Choi Nayeon looks at the ground while talking to Liu Kai and blushing a little while doing her hardest to behave naturally in front of him.

"I don't know how to get to the hot spring," said Liu Kai, not realizing that the woman seemed so awkward about the situation.

"Then I will guide you," said Choi Nayeon, and she led the way for Liu Kai. Her heart beats so fast as she walks and keeps thinking about the body of Liu Kai she saw earlier.

Choi Nayeon stood in front of the door and showed it to Liu Kai.

"Thank you, Miss." Liu Kai said politely before moving in. He's about to go in, but the lady's arms stopped him.

"Uhm, can you tell me your n-name, sir?" asked the woman.

"Ah, it's Liu Kai, I'm sorry if I have trouble with you." Liu Kai said, thinking it was necessary because the lady had left the lobby for him and might want a record or something, so he answered right away.

"T-thank you, L-Liu K-kai, please enjoy your stay here." Choi Nayeon said as she stuttered a lot about Liu Kai's name before she ended her speech.

"Thanks, miss," said Liu Kai, entering the hot spring.

"You're late," said King Lee.

"I'm sorry I lost the way," said Liu Kai.

King Lee noticed Choi Nayeon's presence outside the hot spring before Liu Kai came in.

'Hmmm, it looks like she is your type, huh.' King Lee thought to himself as he assumed that Liu Kai had made his way to the woman.
