Two weeks had passed since Lunas little visit and I had gotten a lot better using larger weapons but I still had a bit of a hard time. I could use a sword at the very least as well as a night trainee that's almost finished with their training.
I decided I would be using a sword as my main weapon and switch to a short sword, dagger and knife only when needed.

Unfortunately today would be they day we finally left Extrilla. It was quite emotional all the way up to our departure and even then we had left an hour later than planned due to Shar's parents being extremely clingy.
I eventually pried Shar away from them and placed her on Gypsy.

It took us another half a month until we arrived at the border of Tronan the country just north of Extrilla. It was quite surprising to see the terrain around us change to a cold winter wonderland where both snow and trees held strong. Thankfully we had purchased some winter clothes not long ago. They didn't actually do much but was still better than wearing what we previously had on.
...
Another half of a month had gone by and we were finally standing at the gates of walls so high you think they they were made for giants.
As in all places we handed our identification papers over to the guards, they did a quick check and were were set free.
The city was quite beautiful with all of the snow capped roofs and the hustle and bustle that persisted all the same. Most houses were made out of logs and gave off a homey feeling that made you want to snuggle up to your significant other and watch the fire burn down to the very last ember.
The people all around us seemed extremely cheery despite the freezing cold. Some would stop and talk to people that they knew. From what I could hear they were mostly mundane things that you would do everyday but it was like they were telling a story of great adventure where they faced many great challenges.
I pulled someone to the side hoping to relieve directions to the nearest inn but the man noticed immediately that we weren't from here and started to brag a great deal about many different things.
It was almost fifteen minutes later that I finally squeezed out where a decent place to sleep was. Thankfully it wasn't to far away and we made it in just a couple minutes. It was a simple place that mostly blended in with the other buildings and I probably would not have spotted if not for the sign that said inn.
It was quite a nice little inn with a large fire that heated most of the building. The receptionist was a nice old lady that told amusing stories about her younger years. One I enjoyed was about her fighting a giant rat but having to have her "knight in shining armor" or her husband to come and help her.
"Don't have too much fun children" she shouted after us as we headed to our room.
Out of the corner of my eye I spotted Sharla blushing profusely and I grinned to myself.
...
Unfortunately there weren't any baths and we were stuck with wiping ourselves down with a wet rag soaked in warm water.
Contrary to what you would think, you didn't actually need to bundle yourself up in many blankets and the bed itself was very comfortable. The next day I actually slept in very late to the point where Sharla was up before me.
It was quite cute when I woke up with her all snuggled up to me.
...
The food was good and warm. It seemed that the supposed "knight in shining armor" was quite the cook and made anything taste ten times better than it normally would have been.
After eating we traveled around the nearby area looking at many different shops.
...
Hours later it was finally time to eat lunch and Sharla was leading me towards one of the more fancy restaurants we had seen along the way.
"And what will you ladies be having today" asked man that looked to be in his twenties.
"Surprise me" I say without giving a second glance.
"And you?"
"The same" Shar said.
"Will that be all?"
"Yes."
...
A few minutes later I spited the man bringing out two trays. When he reached our table he lifted the lids to reveal a large bowl filled with... salad.
It wasn't my favorite thing but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
...
The rest of the day was filled with lots of shopping and ended with me carrying many, many bags.
Note: ok so I know this is probably my most boring chapter yet but I am really tired right now and my brain is moving a bit slowly so this is the best(probably not) I could do.
Anyway thanks for reading and I'm going to be posting a notice tomorrow so please read that(probably going to hate me(just a tiny bit)(don't worry I'm not dropping this or any others))
Also sorry this one is a bit short. :(
Thanks for reading and and have a good day, byyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeee
