I walked in and told Jace to wait outside for a minute.
" Mom, Dad", I yelled.
They came running down the stairs.
"Yes?", they asked.
" Remember that you-tuber, that's a year older than me, that I always talked about when I was younger?", I asked.
"Yeah why?", They asked at the same time.
" Well, I met him at a bar and he is standing outside the door right now!", I screeched.
My parents looked at each other and then burst out laughing.
"I'm serious guys!", I yelled.
Then I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I turned around and saw that it was Jace.
"She is telling the truth", Jace said in a loud clear voice.
My parents opened their eyes and stared at Jace in shock.
" You're daughter , sang and it attracted me and my band's attention right away, I was wondering if you would let her work at the bar, by singing at the bar three time a week", Jace told my parents.
I blushed in embarrassment because of how Jace was praising me.
My mom turned towards me and hugged me.
" Finally! You got the job that you deserve!", she yelled in excitement.
" Mom, I didn't say yes yet", I said.
"Sweetie you should do it , you might never get another chance like this again", my mom said.
My dad nodded." Your mother is right, you're taking the job!", My dad said firmly.
"Dad! I don't have anything sexy to wear!", I protested.
" I'm sure Maya will let you borrow outfits from her for a while", My dad said.
"Fine, I'll do it", I said feeling slightly annoyed.
" Great you can start tomorrow!", Jace said.
"But how will I get there?", I asked.
" I will come pick you up and drive you there", Jace said and smiled.
" Well, okay....only because you are my favorite you-tuber in the world, and because we are going to the same place", I said as I crossed my arms across my chest.
" Are you sure those are the only reasons, he whispered in my ear causing my body to shiver.
"Yep, I'm sure", I said.
He laughed.
"Yeah right " , he said.
