Chapter 31: First day at work

I walked down the hallway to Maya's room and knocked on the door.

She opened the door, and before I could explain what I needed, she pulled me inside.

"Finally, I get to make you and your curves stand out!", she exclaimed happily.

I blush, suddenly wishing that I didn't complain last night.

"Here is the first outfit", Maya said pointing to the outfit that was neatly laid out on the bed..

It was a black corset, black short shorts, black boots and fishnet stockings.

"And here is the last option", She said pointing at her closet door.

But all I saw was a bag.

Maya giggled at me.

"Open it", she said.

I opened the bag and inside it was:

A black strapless dress, that had black glitter on it, with black flats.

And a black hair clip shaped like a music note.

" So which one are you going to wear?", she asked.

" The strapless dress ", I replied.

She smiled at me.

"What are you waiting for? Go try it on", she yelled.

I picked up the dress carefully and walked to her bathroom to get changed.

After I was done changing, Maya straight ironed my hair so that it cascaded down my back.

Then she put the hair clip in my hair.

Then she put on two coats of scarlet lipstick on my lips.

She also put a layer of mascara on my eyelashes, and then put on black eyeliner.

And lastly she applied a rosy pink shade of blush onto my cheeks.

Maya stepped back and looked at me.

" There all done. Also don't worry about the makeup smearing it is water and sweat proof", She informed me.

I looked into the mirror and gasped.

I looked and felt beautiful.

I wrap my arms around Maya's neck and hug her.

She hugs me back.

" Thank you so much Maya!", I said.

" You're welcome. Now go knock em dead!, she said as she playfully pushed me out the bedroom.

I waited outside for a minute, and then Jace pulled up in the driveway.

I walked to the car and got in.

I felt Jace staring at me.

I looked him in the eyes.

Our eyes locked.

" You look beautiful", he murmured brushing back a piece of my hair and tucked it behind my ear.

I blushed.

"Thank you", I said and then smiled.

He smiled back and then pulled out of the driveway and then drove onto the main highway.
