Face of Fate

A light stick came in her side, then the face of a soldier appeared.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with concern.

"Do I need to answer you?" Cressida quirked her brow.

The soldier opened his mouth then closed it. "I mean." He paused then continued. "MiLord is searching for you."

"Yes. MiLady." The soldier nodded and gestured his hand forward to Cressida to follow.

She walked towards the direction that his hand showed. The soldier then followed her.

She didn't know where to go. Why did the soldier ask her to lead? They kept on walking until the staircase was visible at the right corner. Cressida turned towards the staircase. Then the soldier called her at her back.

"MiLady this way." He said and pointed to another staircase that was to the left at a further distance.
