105. Spared life

Lycaon decided to go on a hunt. It's been many days since he hasn't done it. With so many things going on in the castle, he completely forgets what he used to do in the past. He went into the dungeon to meet the King of the East. His mind couldn't believe his own father would ever do such a thing. When he reached the dungeons, he stood in front of the bars of the prison and looked at his father. His father was asleep with an empty leather bottle thrown on the ground of the cage. His form was leaned back on the sidewall, slipped halfway of the floor. His fuddled body was lying motionless. Lycoan disdained to look at his father.

"He's drunk even at this stage," Lycaon murmured.

Leaving his father in the state as he was, Lycaon turned around to leave. His father woke up suddenly from his numbness. He then jerked his head in the direction of Lycaon.

"My son." He said.

Lycaon turned around to face the imprisoned King.
