"Why are you doing this... why?!" 
The woman covered her face as her smile brimmed with confidence faded, replaced by flowing tears paired with muffled speech.

The aloof man remained silent as his gaze fell upon the beautiful woman's sorrow countenance whilst he approached her, bringing her deep into his embrace.

"...I was a fool. I was a fool to treat you like that, as I am the fool who suffers from being madly in love with you now."
The words rolled out his tongue as he planted his forehead into her neck, causing her to halt her scuffle as his words deeply befuddled her.

But the man soon felt a throbbing pain on his lower part, causing him to bend down as it ached.

The crying woman retracted her foot as the two hands that covered her face were slowly brought down, revealing a mischievous and dark grin underneath it,

"Heh. You indeed are a fool," she muttered before forcibly planting her soft lips towards his, blood trickling from between them.

Slow-paced romance as the MC loathes the ML, but the ML will continue to remain extremely faithful, so no side hoes, yay! But misunderstandings are bound to happen XP

My Playful Empress

I deeply apologize for not updating a single chapter in the past week.


Truth be told, my school is crazy to the point the students trended a twitter hashtag, protesting the school committee about it. But aside from that, what caused the students to riot was the same cause on why I couldn't update. Aside from that, I can't reside in my usual working space(my house) due to the corona virus, hence I couldn't properly write and update.


If things go well, please expect a new chapter by tomorrow, if not, probably the day after.


I really do apologize for this, as this situation isn't the least bit favorable to both you and I, hence I hope for your understanding.
